4-H USTP Balubal holds coordination meeting with the Committee on Agriculture.

‎The 4-H Club USTP Balubal aims to expand the development of Agriculture in balubal by proposing a "Lettuce Growhouse, Vegetable Production and 4-H Hub in Barangay Balubal". On October 21, 2025 at the barangay hall, Kagawad Dionedes Rosel, the chairperson of Committe in Agriculture, discussed his plans on how he will help in providing support in the materials that they need and the seedlings that are essential in expanding the development of the growhouse in Barangay Balubal.

‎ This partnership with the barangay council will be a way to build the foundation for the growth of the 4-H Club Balubal and influence the youth to be involved in this movement. The 4-H Club President in Balubal Mr. Harold John Payla and Earl Vincent Bade, 4-H Club USTP Balubal, together with his officers openly collaborated through presenting their ideas and concerns regarding the production and process of this project. The project is intended to establish a 4-H Hub that may also provide resources for the ever growing economy in their barrio.

‎The meeting concluded in agreement and successfully discussed the coordination for the initiation of the Lettuce Growhouse, Vegetable Production and 4-H Hub in Barangay Balubal.

4-H USTP Balubal Joins 11th Regional Young Farmers Camp & Agrilympics with the Theme "HARVEST"

4-H USTP Balubal, one of the five participating organizations under 4-H CDO, proudly took part in their first-ever Regional Young Farmers Camp and Agrilympics, held from September 17–29, 2025. This year’s event embraced the theme “HARVEST”—Harnessing Agricultural Resilience through Vision, Education, Sustainability, and Technology—gathering delegates from various municipalities across the region.

The camp was a memorable experience for the USTP Balubal delegates, filled with exciting activities such as farm tours, competitive Agrilympics, and learning sessions that deepened their understanding of 4-H’s origins and mission. It also offered a meaningful opportunity to build friendships and connections with fellow 4-H members from other municipalities.

During the event, 4-H Club Northern Mindanao recognized Mr. Harold Payla as a National Finalist for the Most Outstanding 4-H Member and the recipient of the National Excellence Achievers Award – Hands Category. Likewise, Ms. Zwayrenelle Baja was honored during the regional level of the 4-H Song Competition for her exceptional talent and representation.

A major highlight of the camp was the recognition of 4-H CDO as the Overall Champion—an achievement that USTP Balubal proudly witnessed and celebrated. The event was a remarkable step forward in encouraging youth creativity and involvement in agriculture.
