The blueprint has officially been laid! 👷👷‍♀️

PICE-ASCOT Student Chapter 156 kicked off a brand new academic year with the Civil Engineering General Orientation 2026 at the Dalguji Center.

Welcoming our freshies and setting the tone for the term, the afternoon started with a prayer, the national anthem, and inspiring messages from our faculty that definitely fueled everyone’s drive.

To map out the journey ahead, the freshies were introduced to the CE curriculum and specialized courses. Alongside the exciting things, crucial discussions on the department's code of conduct, policies, fines, and sanctions were laid out to emphasize discipline and professionalism from day one. The students also got a clear preview of the organization's by-laws and upcoming activities to keep them well-informed and ready to get involved.

A major highlight of the event was looking back at our foundations. We honored our former PICE officers and presented a full transparency report of the past year's milestones. Right after, the symbolic turnover of leadership and the official oath-taking of our newly elected officers marked an exciting new chapter, with our new leaders officially pledging their commitment to service and excellence.

And of course, students were also involved as they played a game wherein they got to get some prizes. The day wrapped up with an engaging open forum, where students asked questions and shared ideas, followed by motivating closing remarks from the newly elected PICE President.

With a fresh vision and a brand new team ready to lead, PICE-ASCOT SC 156 is more than ready to build not just strong structures, but an even stronger community.

The ASCOT – Engineering Student Council would like to inform all Engineering Students that a MASSWORK and SIGNING OF CLEARANCE activity will be conducted on June 15, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM onwards.

All concerned individuals are encouraged to participate in the masswork activity and bring their respective clearance forms for signing. Your cooperation and active involvement are highly appreciated as we work together to maintain a clean, organized, and conducive learning environment within the School of Engineering.

To make our MASSWORK more effective, please bring the following:

✅ Gloves
✅ Garbage bags
✅ Brooms
✅ Basahan (rags)
✅ Hammer and nails
✅ Bolo or itak
✅ Safety gear or shoes

Please be guided accordingly and ensure your attendance.
