JCI Balagtas – Florante at Laura, in partnership with NAZ Castro, is committed to improving the quality of life of the students of Balagtas Central School through the donation of cleaning and school supplies and active participation in the cleanup drive on June 5.

JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura successfully held its First Community Project on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in partnership with the Office of Vice Mayor Monay Payuran and RMB Homeowners Association, Inc.

JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura recognizes that parents, during the summertime, have a lot of free time now that their kids are home from school. JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura determined that a basic “Hilot" livelihood program for the homeowners of the RMB Subdivision would be an efficient use of their free time, as well as a way to teach skills that can be used on their daily lives and can also be a source of income.

Mr. Godfrey C. Dantes of TESDA provided his expertise on the Hilot (Wellness Massage) NCII program. During the training proper, he discussed the core competencies of the Hilot program which included planning, infection control, performing services, and giving post-massage advice as well as a comprehensive demonstration of applying the various hilot massage techniques. After the training program, participants received a Certificate of Completion signed by representatives of the TESDA, Office of Vice Mayor Payuran, and RMB Subdivision Homeowners Association, Inc.

The "RMB Homeowners Livelihood Program" served as JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura's introduction to the broader community of Balagtas.

JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura successfully held its first General Membership Meeting on April 18, 2026 at Café de Balagtas, Balagtas, Bulacan. The meeting focused on discussing the local organization (LO)’s purpose inspired by the JCI Creed, as well as its Constitution and By-Laws. Election of interim officers was also held during the meeting.

JCI Balagtas Florante at Laura is now complying with necessary actions to affiliate the organization to the JCI Philippines, Inc., strengthening its commitment to developing young leaders in the community. 💙✨
