When I handed his new running shoes, the look on his face said it all. 🥹 His happiness reminded me that this journey isn’t just about sports — it’s about purpose, hope, and carrying forward the love of those we’ve lost.

I’ve been through a lot, and for a while, I lost my direction. But this moment gave me something to live for again. This won’t be a one-time thing — this is the beginning of something bigger, something I know would make them proud. 🕊️❤️

Last Sunday, we officially kicked off our very first event — a special run held in honor of Papa Oking. 💙 This is more than just a family gathering; it’s the beginning of our nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young runners and building a tradition of strength, discipline, and community.

We’re excited for what’s ahead, committed to helping the next generation chase their dreams. 🌟

Here’s to more miles, more memories, and more hearts touched. This is only the beginning. 🏅💪

✨ We celebrated Papa’s birthday with a twist — turning it into a new family tradition of commemorating our loved ones’ memories for the next generation.

Papa was a runner, and today we remember him not only through his achievements but also through the life he gave us. As his daughter, I admit we had our differences and misunderstandings, but beyond all that, what stands out most is how Papa was such a great provider. He never went home empty-handed — no matter how small, he always brought something for us.

We grew up spoiled in the simplest ways — happy over an old refrigerator, an old TV, or things passed on from family who no longer used them because they bought new ones. We were never raised in a household that compared what others had. Papa taught us humility, to work hard if we wanted something, and to appreciate life’s blessings without envy.

This is his legacy, and this is how we honor him. 🕯❤️

🥈 4 Silver Medals – CVIRAA 1983
🥉 1 Bronze Medal – CVIRAA 1983

These are the medals I found—the rest, maybe lost in time, but never forgotten in spirit.
We don’t run to collect medals…
We run because of the values these medals represent: hard work, heart, and humility.
