Meet re_haven 🩵💛💜

Isang proyekto kasama ang ating mga ka-barangay sa Baguio City na nais mag-promote ng paggamit ng reusable containers kaysa sachets at single-use plastics.

We aim to make reuse simple, accessible, and community-driven by working hand-in-hand with Baguio communities to reduce packaging waste while creating local livelihood opportunities together.

The name comes from:
“re_” — the r-strategies for a circular economy: refuse, rethink, reduce, reuse, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, repurpose, recycle and recover
“haven” — a safe and supportive space

And a vision of making Baguio a haven for all again.

May ayus na parating sa Baguio! Abangan 👀

We're looking for community partners with indoor/enclosed spaces to help bring Baguio City's reuse system to life!

The proposed Community Washing Facility will play an important role in keeping reusable containers clean, safe, and ready for circulation.

If your barangay, school, cooperative, organization, or institution has a potential space and is interested in partnering with us, we'd love to connect.

Before ends, we want to highlight the youth who came together last July 15 and pledged to champion reuse and refill in their schools, homes, and communities.

Bawat munting hakbang, panata ko'y yayakapin,

🌱 Calling young changemakers from Baguio and Benguet!

Join our Youth Reuse Ambassadors Training and become part of a growing network of young people promoting refill and reuse solutions in their schools, homes, and communities.

This one-day training will bring together a small cohort of participants to learn, collaborate, and develop practical initiatives that encourage communities to reduce single-use plastics and embrace reuse.

📍 Who can join? Youth aged 15–25 years old from Baguio - Benguet

This training is a collaborative initiative of Tingi Station through the re_haven Project and Zero Waste Baguio, Inc. through the Plastic Free Pilipinas Project.
