The Day We See Him Face to Face!
Huwag nating hintayin na makita natin si Hesus nang harapan bago tayo mamangha at maniwala nang lubusan. Imagine that moment: standing before the King of Kings, completely overwhelmed with awe, just like the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation.
“When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, ‘Fear not, I am the first and the last.’”- Revelation 1:17
How heartbreaking would it be if we only realize the full weight of His sacrifice when we are already standing right in front of Him? Sa araw na iyon, baka maiyak tayo sa matinding panghihinayang at masabi nating, "Lord, totoo pala. Totoo ka pala! Sobrang grabe at totoong-totoo pala ang ginawa mo sa krus para sa akin."
Then, He will show us His hands the very hands that still bear the scars of the nails. Ang mga markang iyon ay hindi tanda ng pagkatalo, kundi ang pinakamatinding patunay ng Kanyang walang-hanggang pag-ibig sa atin. He did that for you. He did that for me.
“He showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.”- John 20:20
Huwag nating hayaan na manghinayang tayo sa huli at magsabi ng, "Sana pala, Lord, pinuri at sinamba kita sa espiritu at katotohanan noong nasa lupa pa ako." God is looking for true worshipers today, not just in eternity.
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.”- John 4:23
Our Response Today:
Let’s not wait for heaven to give Him the worship He deserves. Bow your heart before Him right now. Cry out in gratitude today, so that when that glorious day comes and you finally see those nail-pierced hands, your tears won't be tears of regret but tears of pure, overflowing joy because you are finally looking at the Savior who loved and served you with all His heart.
