There was a time I thought I had gone too far,
done too much, failed too deeply to ever be redeemed.
I wore my shame like a heavy cloak,
believing the weight of my mistakes was mine to carry forever.
But then grace found me.
Not because I deserved it.
Not because I earned it.
But because Jesus loved me when I was most unlovable.
🎵🎶"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
that saved a wretch like me..." 🎵🎶
I was lost—in every sense of the word.
Lost in fear.
Lost in pride.
Lost in pain I couldn't even name.
Yet He searched for me.
He called my name when all I could hear was condemnation.
🎵🎶I once was lost, but now am found.
Was blind, but now I see.🎵🎶
And what opened my eyes wasn't punishment.
It wasn't judgment.
It was grace.
Undeserved. Unmatched. Unexplainable.
It was grace that taught my heart to fear—
a holy fear,
a reverent awe that broke me and healed me all at once.
It was grace that lifted the crushing weight off my chest,
whispering, "You are forgiven. You are free."
Through dangers, toils, and snares—He carried me.
Through nights I thought would never end—He stayed.
Through battles I couldn't fight—He won.
Grace wasn’t a one-time moment.
It’s the melody that carries me every day.
It’s the oxygen in my lungs when I can’t find the words to pray.
It’s the promise that even when everything fades,
He will be forever mine.
I am not who I was.
I am who He says I am.
I am living proof that grace still amazes.
And I will never stop singing of it.
