Our Free Coffee and Pandesal Drive starts Tomorrow and runs until Friday (or until supplies last). This is open to 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗨𝗣𝗕 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 - students, faculty, and staff alike.

Reminder: Please don't forget to 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝗴𝘀 so we can keep this initiative eco-friendly.

Staff of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Baguio went to multiple senior high schools in Buguias to conduct short orientations about UP and the UPCAT process to students, school administrators, and faculty.

We thank the various school administrators and faculty who accommodated the staff and assisted in the information dissemination and application of their students.

Volunteers of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Baguio went to multiple senior high schools in Kalinga to conduct short orientations about UP and the UPCAT process to students, school administrators, and faculty. They also took the opportunity to invite senior high school students to a review and assessment program.

On July 25, 2026, 𝟖𝟑 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 from all across whether invited through the school visits or those who saw our call, participated in a review and assessment program intended to prepare them for various college entrance examinations.

We thank student volunteers Marie Aromin, Aprilyn Viernes, April Balinsayo, Jaszcha Andrada, Friend of Pahinungód, Marvin Chumanew and faculty volunteer, Sir Felicisimo Jr. Galletes for their unwavering passion to serve by shining the light on a path students may consider to take for their future. 𝗨𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗻𝗴ó𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗼 and the UPB Kasarian Gender Studies Program Office successfully held a 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻-𝗔𝗽𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Facilitated by 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗛. 𝗟𝘂𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, Convenor of the 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, the half-day session engaged around 60 participants, including the barangay's LGU employees, parents, and elderly residents. The engaging discussion explored the core of gender sensitivity and equality, focusing on eliminating biases and stereotypes while fostering safe spaces for women, LGBTQIA+ members, and the broader community.

Together, they tackled important topics like gender-fair language, anti-discrimination principles, and the importance of creating an inclusive environment where everyone is treated with fairness and respect.

Made possible through the support of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Baguio, this initiative highlights a continued commitment to nurturing a strong, long-standing partnership with the Loakan-Apugan community.

AT THE MOMENT

The culmination of Tangguyob 2026 is now happening as students from Kalinga, Ifugao, and Baguio are currently participating in assessment tests organized by Ugnayan ng Pahinungód teams in each area. Approximately 150 participants each area attended the morning segment while more are expected to join the review sessions in the afternoon.

AT THE MOMENT

Tangguyob 2026 is underway! Teams assigned in Baguio, Kalinga, and Ifugao composed of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód student and faculty volunteers are simultaneously visiting several high schools. Each team brings with them manual application forms, informative brochures, and the hope of encouraging students to apply for the University of the Philippines and participate in the upcoming
review and assessment sessions. These sessions will prepare senior high schools students for College Entrance Examinations and will be held at UP Baguio (Baguio), Schools Division Office (Lagawe, Ifugao) and the Rizal National School of Arts and Trades (Rizal, Kalinga).
