Parable of Two Sons: A Vineyard of Hope and Individual Growth 🌾

The Saint Louis University School of Law (LITCOM) leads the singing at the morning mass this Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the SLU Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish presided by the SLU president, Pres. Rev. Fr. Gilbert Sales.

In his Homily, President Rev. Fr. Sales reminded the faithful to have their works speak louder than what they preach. He emphasized that a true Christian possesses the humility to recognize and admit their shortcomings and wrongdoings. Further, he mentioned that it takes courage to admit one's faults, as it is the first step toward becoming better as individuals and doing better. It is also an opportunity to strengthen our connection with God through humble, selfless acts.

Today's reading inspires the Church to personal responsibility and to afford second chances not only towards others but also to ourselves. The Gospel teaches us that God sees the real intentions of our hearts and that we are more than what meets the eye.

ASCEND, ALPAS: Saint Louis University - School of Law Send-Off Mass for the 2026 Louisian Bar Exam Takers 💙⚖

As the 2026 Philippine Bar Examination fast approaches, the SLU School of Law gathered as one community to pray over and ask for God's blessings for the SLU Law Bar Examination takers through an inspirational and spiritual celebration at the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga parish on August 24, 2026, with the SLU Law Liturgical Committee leading in the singing.

The said celebration fills aspiring Louisian lawyers with much-needed courage and a sense of community as they prepare for a battle they have yet to face, with the ultimate goal of touching the lives of the community as future Louisian lawyers with Christian spirit.

The SLU Law Liturgical Committee is also one in prayer for the success of this year's Bar Examination and the victory of every Louisian and all Bar Examinees.

Bar Examinations for this year shall be conducted on September 6, 9, and 13, 2026, with Saint Louis University as one of the testing centers nationwide.

Our Lady of the Atonement: An Image of Hope and Love visits Saint Louis University - Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish 🕊

Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of the Atonement was warmly welcomed at Saint Louis University, SLU Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish on Sunday, August 23, 2026, for a special week-long stay.

The welcoming rites of Our Lady of the Atonement were led by Rev. Fr. Louis Vuadi, CICM, on behalf of the Parish and Rev. Fr. Danish Quezon, the Parochial Vicar of the Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Atonement. The School of Law Liturgical Committee also led the singing during the said eucharistic celebration.

Parishioners are welcome to visit the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish to venerate and pray before the enshrined image of Our Lady of the Atonement until August 29, 2026. The said pilgrim image shall also visit various parishes within the Diocese of Baguio as part of a wider spiritual tour.

FAITH, FREEDOM, AND CELEBRATION: Remembering Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron Saint of the Youth 🕊

In commemoration of the first of the nine novenas dedicated to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, the patron saint of the youth, and in observance of the 127th Philippine Independence Day, the School of Law Liturgical Committee led the singing of the eucharistic celebration last June 12, 2026, presided by Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, Ph.D., University President at the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish.

The 203rd birth anniversary of Fr. Theophile Verbist, the founding father of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM), was also celebrated through the offering of flowers and the remembrance of his values.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Sales reminded the youth to heed God's love by emulating the values and service of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, not only as an individual but as a servant leader with a heart that leads and transforms others towards the Father.
