Great Day,

Dear PCC Future Nurses, we are posting to inform everyone that the SONS is no longer an accredited organization of the institution. The said decision was made by the SAO office and other organizational bodies due to some circumstances and violations under their investigation. With this, the SONS organization is suspended for 2 years with all the accounts frozen until its resume. Rest assured that the remaining funds and ID laces will be on hold by the SAO Office until the organization gain its accreditation status on the succeeding year. We thank you for going along with us. God Bless everyone. Shalom ☺️.

Following the announcement will be;
1. Selling of ID laces and other fund raising activities are on hold.
2. No collection of Organizational Fee shall be made.
3. Limited resources are deemed to affect future activities.

We extend our gratitude to everyone at Pines City Colleges —teachers, managers, students, and staff—who continually welcome us BGHMC Bloodbank for collaboration and generously give blood. The partnership with Pines City Colleges is truly a treasure. We look forward to more mobile blood donation drives through this partnership!

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the College of Nursing’s Skills Laboratory became a place of hope and generosity during a bloodletting activity organized by the College of Nursing in collaboration with the Society of Nursing Students (SONS) and in partnership with Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

The activity brought together students, faculty, and volunteers, all eager to donate blood and contribute to saving lives. Guided by medical professionals from BGHMC, the process was smooth and safe, with nursing students assisting in tasks such as checking vital signs and offering support to donors.

For many, it was more than just an event—it was a chance to give back and make a difference. Each donation helped supply blood for patients in need.

The College of Nursing and the Society of Nursing Students expressed gratitude to everyone who participated, bringing out the impact of coming together for a meaningful cause. This bloodletting activity not only strengthened the sense of community but also reminded everyone of the importance of compassion and care in nursing.
