Last Sunday, during the Resurrection Cantata Worship Service at Holy Ghost Baptist Church - Baguio, the GSD JESUS CARES Foundation Inc. invited solo parents and widows from Barangays Pacdal, Engineer’s Hill, and Cabinet Hill. They were blessed with the preaching of God’s Word, songs of worship, the warmth of fellowship, and the joy of receiving gifts.

Project SAFE #4 – Barangay South Sanitary Camp

Through the kind accommodation of Hon. Vivian Fernandez, Barangay Captain, together with the Barangay Council members, WOFAD, and community women, the response to the program was very warm and encouraging.

There were even tears as testimonies about child sexual abuse were shared. Many expressed gratitude, affirming that this advocacy is timely and important in protecting our children and families.

Thank God that we were able to present that Jesus Christ is the true hope and answer to the many evils in our world today, especially those that harm our children 💛🛡️

We are very happy to inform you that the GSD Jesus Cares Foundation, Inc. (GJCFI), by God’s grace, has faithfully continued its operations for the past ten years. As we enter the 11th year of operation, we are opening its membership to individuals who wish to actively support the mission and programs of the foundation. We also invite our previous members to renew their membership and continue partnering with us in this meaningful work.

Those who would like to become members may do so through an annual membership fee of ₱1,000. Any additional support you give throughout the year will be recorded as a donation.

All membership fees and donations collected will be used to support these three major programs:

1. The GSD Scholarship – Educational assistance to deserving college and high school students.
2. The Widows Care Program – extending support and encouragement to widows in need.
3. Project SAFE – SAFE stands for Sexual Abuse Awareness and Family Education. This is an advocacy program where our trained volunteer lecturers visit schools to educate children on how to protect themselves from sexual abuse, recognize warning signs, and know what to do when they feel unsafe or face possible danger. Also, we conduct lectures in barangays to educate parents on how to protect their children, how to recognize signs of abuse, and how to properly respond and support victims when abuse has occurred.

A JOY Community Service
Every December, by God’s grace, since its registration in 2015, (10 years) the GSD Jesus Cares Foundation, Inc. (GJCFI) has been given the privilege of serving our community in Baguio City through our Share A Joy Outreach Program—except in 2020 during the COVID lockdown.

Through the kindness and generosity of our sponsors and donors, we are able to bless widows, single mothers, and their children with gifts that bring encouragement and joy. Most importantly, these families are given the opportunity to gather in worship and listen to the preaching of God’s Word.

All glory and honor belong to God for allowing us to be instruments of His love and care.
