SFYN Bago FRESH Hosts the 1st Leg of World Disco Soup Day 2026 πͺ©
In the heart of the Panaad sa Negros Festival, the Slow Food Youth Network of Bago proudly launches the first leg of World Disco Soup Day 2026 through a Curated Five-Course βDinner for a Causeβ, a unique initiative that brings a 5-star-inspired dining experience at an accessible cost, all in support of local farmers and the youth movement for Good, Clean, and Fair Food for All.
Making this event more meaningful with the dishes being prepared and served by YOUTH volunteers themselves, using locally sourced ingredients, proving that the Bagonhon and Negrense youth are active changemakers in building sustainable food systems.
This initiative is made possible in close coordination with the Slow Food Bago Community, who helped curate the menu, alongside the full support of the City Government of Bago, through the Bago City Tourism Affairs Office and the leadership of Hon. Mayor Mayette Javellana.
And of courseβit wouldnβt be a Disco Soup without the disco. πΆ
The Filipino way comes alive with a live band, karaoke, and Slow Drinks crafted by our youth baristas featuring the crowd favorite, the Kanlaon Cooler, inspired by Mt. Kanlaon.
As we celebrate tonight, we are grateful to have welcomed over 50 guests enjoying good food, great music, and a shared purpose: turning awareness into action. This is more than a dinner. Itβs a movementβserved on every plate.
