Our preschool and kindergarten science introduces 16 fun activities related to the following:
1. Fruits and Vegetables: This activity provides young children with an engaging
opportunity to explore and differentiate between various fruits and vegetables. It
encourages the development of healthy eating habits while enhancing their
cognitive and language skills.
2. Healthy and Unhealthy foods: help your children get familiar with the different food
groups and which ones they should eat a lot of, which they should eat some of, and
which they should only eat a little of.
3. Body Parts: they will become more conscious of other things that they can do, see
or explore. Our bodies serve as a toolkit for new discoveries about the world around
us. It can be used as an assessment of student's abilities to identify the different
parts of the body.
4. Five Senses: allow preschoolers to explore and understand the world around them.
They learn to differentiate between objects, people, and experiences based on how
they look, sound, feel, taste, and smell.
5. Solar System: A great activity for teaching kids about the solar system is to show
the different sizes of planets and the order of the planets from the sun.
Teaching them the order of the planets can assist with kids learning about the
planets and memorizing the names of the planets.
6. Where Do These Animals Live?: sort and classify photos of animals based on where
they think they might live. Engage the children in conversations about what animals
would need if they lived in these different areas.
7. Matching Feelings: It's a great activity to teach children all about feelings and
emotions so that they can recognize their own feelings. It will also help English
language learners, as it includes visual aids, images, and simple text.
8. Land, Air, and Water(transportation & animals): It awakens the child’s natural
interests in the world around her. Be aware of the separation of the world into land,
air, and water(animals/transportation)
9. Weather: Understanding Daily Life. Weather impacts our daily routines, from what
we wear to the activities we can engage in. Teaching kids about the weather helps
them plan for the day.
10. Boy or Girl: kids will be aware that their appearance is somewhat different with
each other.
11. PARTS OF PLANTS: will be able to identify the different parts of a plant. Will be able to understand how plants survive.
Workbooks are a fantastic way to start teaching your child before they reach school age. And if like us you flexi-school or home-school, then they're perfect for tracking progress and laying things out in a fun and engaging way. They can be used to improve handwriting, reading, and also concentration.
