SAGIP LIWANAG: Illuminating Lives Through Service
The Rotary Club of Hiyas ng Bacoor continues its commitment to service by bringing hope and care to those who need it most through its Vision Care Medical Mission in Barangay San Nicolas II, Bacoor.
On March 14, 2026, at San Nicolas Elementary School, this meaningful outreach will provide free vision assessments and free prescription reading glasses to underprivileged senior citizens in the community. This initiative is made possible with the assistance of fellow Rotarian and ophthalmologist Dr. Alfredo G. Navarrete, MD, together with Dr. Marianne Navarrete, whose expertise and dedication help make this mission possible. Through this project, we aim to serve 300 senior citizen beneficiaries, helping improve their vision, support their daily activities, and enhance their quality of life.
Poor vision affects not only daily living but also dignity, independence, and quality of life. Through this project, we hope to bring clearer sight, renewed confidence, and brighter days to our beloved senior citizens.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Guile Tapawan and the Optometrist Association of Cavite for their support and for allowing this meaningful project to be conducted. Our heartfelt thanks as well to Barangay Captain Jonnel Eusebio and the Barangay Team of San Nicolas II for their assistance and cooperation in making this community outreach possible.
At Rotary, we believe that even simple acts of service can create a lasting and meaningful impact. Together, let us continue to serve, care, and bring light into the lives of others.
