The College of Arts and Sciences, with the guidance and support of the Office of Student Welfare and Formation-Multi Faith, the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, and the Office of Culture and the Arts, successfully conducted a Eucharistic Celebration to mark the beginning of the annual Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting ceremony for the Level II nurses of Pampanga State University.

The event was held at the University Auditorium and was graced by Rev. Fr. Marvin M. Sinlao, Parish Priest of Good Shepherd Parish, Pandacaqui.

‎| One-Month Rosary Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary

‎The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, a catholic devotion honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. In response to the call of our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, the Office of Student Welfare and Formation – Multi-Faith Unit, in collaboration with the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, will be holding a One-Month Rosary Devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary

‎This devotion aims to deepen faith and strengthen unity among our students, faculty, and staff. In a special way, we also dedicate this prayer for truth, accountability, and peace in our country.

‎The Holy Rosary will be prayed daily at 6:30 AM, 12:00 NN, and 5:00 PM at the University Prayer Room, to be facilitated by the faculty from the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.

‎Let us come together as one community of faith, entrusting our intentions to God through the loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, in collaboration with the Office of Student Welfare and Formation – Multi-Faith Unit, has successfully conducted a three-day recollection with the theme “Recollection: Looking Back with Gratitude, Looking Forward with a Hopeful Attitude” for the graduating students held on September 9–11, 2025.
‎
‎The departments that participated in the recollection were Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, and Sociology.
‎
‎In line with this, together with the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, we would like to extend our gratitude to the Dean, Dr. Nelly N. Pilao, who initiated this event, and to the facilitators who made the three-day recollection a more meaningful, reflective, and formative experience. The facilitators were as follows:
