TUBIG PARA SA BARANGAY 7.0" at Purok Luhod Luhod, Brgy. Mandalagan , Bacolod City.

The "Tubig para sa Barangay", a social flagship program of the ROTARY CLUB OF BACOLOD in partnership with Sy Boon Pit Foundation now on it's 7th year and continues to provide clean and safe potable water to recipient communities all over the City of Bacolod and conduct emergency response during calamities and disasters.

The water distribution held this April 19, 2026 was led by Past District Governor Edgar Sy, President Amelyn Bravo, IPP Marjorie Dino, Rtns. Sam Solon, Aileen Palma and Jonathan Flores, Barangay officials and the Club Secretariat.

Also witnessing the weekly water distribution is Past District Governor Doug Vincent Woodstock and company from Ontario, Canada.

A total of 55 communities served during RY 2019-2020, 42 communities served during RY 2020-2021, 34 communities served during RY 2021-2022, 28 communities served during RY 2022-2023, 40 communities served during RY 2023-2024 and 33 communities served in RY 2024-2025.

The "Tubig Para Sa Barangay" project is a continuing major service project of the Rotary Club of Bacolod and in line with Rotary International's Area of Focus in Water and Sanitation.

Conclusion of Sectoral PESELS under Zones 8 to 11 !

Last April 9 and 11, the Rotary District 3850 of Rotary International successfully concluded Presidents‑Elect & Secretary-Elect Learning Seminar (PESELS) in Pagadian City and Zamboanga City respectively and what an inspiring and energizing experience it was!

This year's sectoral PESELS was thoughtfully designed to equip our incoming Presidents with the tools, confidence, and clarity needed to Create Lasting Impact in their clubs and communities.

Led by President-Elect Edlyn Agraviador, the leadership team for the 2026–2027 Rotary Year of Service is stepping into a pivotal role to continue the tradition of "Service Above Self and this year's presidential theme : "Create Lasting Impact".

The Leadership team will build upon the foundation laid by current leadership, including Club President Amelyn Bravo (RY 2025–2026), President Nominee Jason Tupas (RY 2027-2028), President Nominee Designate Jet Gabriel Pili (RY 2028-2029), to ensure continuity in the club’s vision for a steady and sustained membership and community service projects impact.

A successful President-elect & Secretary- elect Learning Seminar (PELS) was held in O'Hotel last March 27 and 28, 2026 for the incoming Presidents of 15 Rotary Clubs in Negros Occidental (Zones 5,6, and 7).

This is the 3rd and 4th of six such cluster seminars to be held across our fun District 3850 ensuring that all incoming presidents are well-prepared for their roles for the 2026-27 Rotary year.

Keynote speakers during the said event are incoming District Secretary Frederick Anthony de Leon, incoming Assistant Governor for Zone 6 Maricar Octaviano, Past District Secretary Juan Antonio Villaluz.
