A new study by pro-GMO scientists aimed at proving GMOs are safe actually shows many harmful health effects on 2 generations of monkeys fed glyphosate tolerant GMO corn with two built-in Bt insecticides over a period of 7 years. And a very noteworthy point is the fact that the glyphosate tolerant GMO corn fed to the monkeys was not sprayed with glyphosate during cultivation and was not a true representation of what is in the food supply, which is even more toxic.

The authors concluded that there are no adverse effects on the test animals or their offspring – even though some of their findings raise serious safety questions. Many statistically significant adverse health effects were documented in the study.

This is the same playbook used time after time, year after year, by the GMO industry but the data doesn't lie. For anyone who may still have doubts that GMO corn, or any other GMO for that matter, is not substantially equivalent to its non-GMO counterpart, there is a database of over 2,500 studies that have documented harmful effects. Game over, GMO cronies! Make your life healthier again... skip the GMOs.
