𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 🦅✨

Agila Bacolod is back on track, setting the course to reinstate the organization back into life. This was preceded by the recent conduct of the 2026 Eagle Scout Gathering on March 28th, Saturday, at the BSP Bacolod City Council Headquarters, which convened Eagle Scouts across different batches.

The event commenced with the preliminaries and the delivery of the opening and welcome speeches. This was followed by the recognition of the newly hatched batch and reintroduction of Eagles from previous batches, creating a friendly, safe and open atmosphere necessary for the gathering. A brief yet comprehensive overview was then provided about Agila Bacolod—its identity, mission and vision, board of regents, successful projects, and past achievements. In an election for Kapawa's batch representative, ES Kurt Ylanna Baylon gained the plurality of votes, thereby earning her the position. Lastly, a closing message given by ES Rocky Nicor, Agila Bacolod's Outfit Adviser, capped off the event on an inspiring note, leaving the attendees with takeaways worthy of contemplation and challenging them to live up to the true essence of the Eagle rank.

The gathering was a tremendous success, marked by the accomplishment of desired results. What made the event more remarkable was that it was not only intended for coming together—to converge the past, the present and the future. It was also about remembering the roots, honoring the legacy, and guiding new Eagles to rise towards their greater purpose.

⚜️ One Visayas. One Movement. One Purpose.

The recent Typhoon Tino has left many Negrosanon families facing difficulties - homes damaged, livelihoods disrupted, and communities in need of support.

In response, the Senior Scouts Committee(SSC) Agila Bacolod, Philippine Youth Network for Interfaith Dialogue (PYNIFD), and NESAPH are launching a Council Donation Drive to provide relief and hope. 💚

We are accepting canned goods, noodles, school supplies, and clothes (including uniforms) — anything that can help affected families recover.

𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐤, 𝐊𝐚𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐦 𝐤𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧 ✨

A residential fire broke out in Brgy 27, Bacolod City, on September 12th, Friday. The devastation incurred was beyond words, leaving the fire victims displaced from home, deprived of livelihoods and hard-earned properties, and devoid of resources to sustain daily needs. With all the ongoing socio-economic and sociopolitical issues faced by the country and impacting its countrymen, life has been rendered difficult and survival is hanging by a fragile thread. How much more to the individuals who are directly affected by the catastrophe, whose deserved right to a decent life was stripped off without prior warning? They were given no equal chance to fight, and now, they are left with nothing. They only have us. They only have our generosity and kindness. 🥹

In light of this, 𝑨𝒈𝒊𝒍𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒅𝒍𝒂𝒌 is knocking on your kind hearts for donations. We highly encourage the giving of following donations for our fellows in Brgy 27. You may drop these off at the Boy Scouts of the Philippines 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒅 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 located at Corner Rosario-Araneta Street, Bacolod City, from 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟏𝟓 (𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚) until 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟐𝟎 (𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚).

Introducing 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐋𝐀𝐊, the newest wave of Eagle Scouts from the Agila Bacolod family.

𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐋𝐀𝐊 means “to shine” — and that’s exactly what this Batch represents. They are the light that came after the long pause, the hope that scouting in Bacolod is alive. They represent the very core of what it means to be an Eagle Scout: to stay true to your ideals, to push through the hardest moments, and to emerge not just as individuals, but as leaders ready to guide others march forward.

Each one of them carries within them the spirit of a Scout — Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. They have walked the difficult path, not for the badge, but for the deeper meaning of what it stands for. Their journey has been one of growth, of learning, of becoming. And now, as they stand on the shoulders of those who came before, they are ready to pass the torch to the next generation.

Yes, you read it right! A project is making a comeback in 2025!

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐬 𝐌𝐨 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟕
Hanggang Saan Aabot Ang 100 Pesos Mo is a donation-driven project by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Bacolod City Council. This project aims to provide curated students in public elementary schools in Bacolod City with kits containing school supplies such as notebooks, pad papers, pencils, crayons and the like. Originally launched in 2016, this initiative has already impacted the lives of many, and this 2025, in its seventh year, Agila Bacolod Batch Sidlak will take the lead to further expand its reach.
