Every Sunday, our boys went to the Chapel of Don Bosco Retreat House to join as Mass.

The boys are helping through reading from First Reading to Second Reading up to Prayers of the Faithful.

Some are assigned as Acolyte ( Sacristan ) during the Mass. Engaging in Mass is important because it is a special aspect of faith that allows people to build a deeper relationship with God and strengthen their spiritual life.

Overall, engaging in Mass is important because it nurtures faith, promotes inner peace, strengthens community bonds, and reminds people to live according to God’s teachings.

Have a blessed Sunday Every One.

ENGR. CHRISTIAN PINGCALE, REE

Congratulations on passing the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam (REELE).
You made it—after all the sleepless nights, pressure, and quiet sacrifices that not everyone saw.

It’s a proud moment, but I know it didn’t come easy. Sometimes, reaching the finish line also means looking back at everything you had to give up along the way. Still, you pushed through—and that says everything about your strength.

May this achievement open better days for you, even if today feels a little heavy.

You earned this, Engineer.

A truly product of Bacolod Boys Home.

Arvin once walked to school with worn-out shoes and an empty stomach, carrying more dreams than food in his bag. Life was never easy—there were nights when he studied under a dim light, fighting sleep and hunger just to keep up with his lessons. People doubted him, and circumstances tried to pull him down, but he held on to one thing: determination.

Beside him was Argie, a friend who shared the same struggles. Together, they pushed each other to do better, reminding one another that their situation did not define their future. They became known not just for their intelligence, but for their discipline, humility, and perseverance.

Years passed, and their hard work paid off. Today, Arvin stands as a proud guest speaker, sharing his journey with others—proof that success is not about where you start, but how you rise. Argie, too, became a role model, showing that excellence is built through sacrifice and consistency.

From being poor boys with big dreams, they became examples of hope. Their story reminds everyone listening: hardships are not the end—they are the beginning of something greater.

Congratulations to you both.

Bacolod Boys Home would like to extend its appreciation to Bureau of Fire Protection of Brgy. Granada.

Every March, the Philippines observes Fire Prevention Month to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention. This campaign is led by the Bureau of Fire Protection to educate people about the causes of fire and how to avoid them.

March is usually the hottest and driest month in the country, which increases the risk of fire incidents. Because of this, the government conducts activities such as fire drills, safety seminars, and building inspections to promote awareness and preparedness.

Fire Prevention Month reminds everyone that preventing fires starts at home. By practicing proper safety measures, people can help protect lives, property, and the community from fire hazards.
