Allow me to introduce to you, Samantha, your batch scholar. Samantha and her friends went viral last year because they fundraised on Facebook for Sam to allow her to continue her last year of Lasallian education. You see, Sam had no means of enrolling for her first semester of her 4th year as a Psychology student. She needed to pay 1 year of unpaid tuition before she can enroll for SY 2025-2026. With the amount collected from social media, the back account and enrollment fees were paid. Since her mother’s death and her step father being of old age, Sam is self sustaining. Samantha works part time as an online tutor, and helps her classmates sell at school. Her earnings are often enough for her boarding house rent and daily expenses.

Because of your support to our fundraisers, HS Batch 1998 were able to help support her first semester tuition and now, her second semester, in full. Sam graduated 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙪𝙢 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚 today, with dreams of being a Guidance Counselor and licensed psychologist.

𝗧𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Included in the Lasallian Women Who Lead exhibit is the FIRST USLS Alumni Association woman president, Architect Jackie Lou Velasco-Azucena! Batch 1998’s very own perpetual class president, an entrepreneur and mom to athletes! 💚

This Women’s Month exhibit is ongoing at the St. La Salle Coliseum Lobby. The exhibit features women who have been leaders in their own fields, includes our beloved Principal, Mrs. Pica Limas.

We were in Grade 9 when High School transferred into this building in the school year of 1994 - 1995. We spent almost every day here until 1998. Oh indeed, if these walls could talk!

Today, these building houses the Professional Schools -- the USLS College of Law and the USLS College of Medicine.

PS: The flag pole was also transferred from the old HS building and was donated by the HS Class of '69.
