Today marks another milestone for our school’s Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and Science Club as we continue our second year of partnership with BACIWA in protecting and restoring our coastal environment.

With the collective effort of more than 200 student volunteers from the Math Club, ESP Club, SSLG, and Red Cross Youth, a total of 1,100 mangrove seedlings were planted at Punta Taytay, Bacolod City.

This initiative highlights the vital role of mangroves in shielding our communities from storm surges, supporting marine life, and combating climate change.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this green mission — we can’t wait to see you again next year for another year of growing mangroves and hope! 💚🌱
