Noong Hunyo 8, 2026, masaya at matagumpay na binuksan ng Manggalayan Bundok Elementary School ang Taong Panuruan 2026–2027. Sa unang araw ng klase, sinalubong ng mga g**o at kawani ang ating mga mag-aaral nang may mainit na pagtanggap, kasiyahan, at paghihikayat upang maging handa sa panibagong paglalakbay sa pagkatuto.

Isang panibagong taon ng pag-aaral ang nagsimula—panibagong pagkakataon upang matuto, mangarap, at magtagumpay. Nawa’y maging puno ng makabuluhang karanasan, mahahalagang aral, at masasayang alaala ang bawat araw ng ating mga mag-aaral sa paaralan.

Sa pagtutulungan ng mga g**o, magulang, at komunidad, sama-sama nating gagabayan ang bawat bata tungo sa kanilang mga pangarap at sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng matagumpay na pagbubukas ng klase. Hangad namin ang isang ligtas, masaya, at produktibong taong panuruan para sa bawat batang MBESean.

From Knowledge to Action: Creating a Rabies-Free Environment at Manggalayan Bundok

Manggalayan Bundok Elementary School took a significant step toward promoting health and safety in the community with their Rabies Awareness activity. The event was led by Ma’am Arleen L. Vallesteros, the dedicated school head, and Sir Arnel G. Fallarcuna, the committed school health coordinator, emphasizing the importance of rabies prevention to the young learners.

The activity aimed to educate students about the deadly nature of rabies, a disease that is 100% fatal once symptoms appear, yet entirely preventable through responsible actions. The message was clear: “Rabies is 100% fatal but also 100% preventable!” This resonated with the students, highlighting the importance of vaccination and responsible pet ownership.

Aligned with the Philippines’ 2026 theme, “Rabies-free na Pusa't A*o, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino,” the campaign focused on promoting responsible pet ownership, vaccination drives, and community awareness. The goal is to achieve a rabies-free Philippines by 2030, ensuring the safety of every Filipino family.

Throughout the activity, students learned about the importance of vaccinating their pets, avoiding stray animals, and reporting bites or suspicious behavior. The event also included engaging discussions and visual aids to reinforce the message that safeguarding our pets and community is a collective responsibility.

This initiative by Manggalayan Bundok Elementary School exemplifies the community’s commitment to health, safety, and responsible pet ownership, paving the way toward a future where rabies is no longer a threat to Filipino families.

Ngayong araw, March 10, 2026, isang makabuluhang aktibidad ang isinagawa sa Manggalayan Mundok Elementary School bilang bahagi ng mga hakbang upang mapanatili ang kalinisan at kalusugan ng mga mag-aaral. Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni Nurse Aim V. Santander, na naghatid ng mga hygiene kit sa mga mag-aaral bilang bahagi ng programa ng WINS (Wash In School).
Layunin ng aktibidad na magbigay ng kaalaman sa tamang pangangalaga sa kalinisan at makapagtaguyod ng malinis na kapaligiran sa paaralan. Kasabay nito, nagsagawa rin siya ng monitoring upang masig**ong nasusunod ang mga patakaran sa kalinisan sa loob ng paaralan.
