It's been busy as usual over the last two weeks. We finished framing out the rooms for Sheila's mother and brother, then built a support truss and set tubular steel to support a second floor in another part of the house.
We also made time to repair a leaking solar water heater for a fellow missionary.

Last week, TSM was back at Sheila's home. This time to install the metal framework for the new ceiling on the upstairs room we built and the adjoining area. We also used metal studs to frame in a small room for her brother to use.

The Toolshed Ministry was at the Global Surge Worship Center-Cogeo this week. Pastor Vincent Roce approached us about building a new stage platform for them. The center portion is fixed, while the two side platforms are on wheels so they can be moved for other functions. They also requested a slot at the back of the stage to easily change backgrounds.
They had a break in their classes and ministry schedule this week so this was the best week for this work, but it almost didn't happen. They had some other maintenance needs come up unexpectedly, and they were still raising funds for the work. TSM was able to provide the materials, and the church will reimburse us as they can.
If you would like to contribute to this work, PM me for ways to help.

Last week, after finishing our work at CBF Tumana, TSM worked at the home of one of the Global Surge Pastors. They had two plastic doorframes that had become brittle and broken. We removed all the old frame, installed new wooden frames and re- hung the doors.

TSM was back at CBF last week and today. We were asked to re- build a bathroom. After cleaning the area, we had to replace part of the drain that was full of debris. Then we framed out the walls, converted with cement board. We finished up today with setting the fixtures and installing the door.

It's been a couple of weeks since I have checked. We have completed the walls and roofing for the room addition we have been working on, and built the railing for the staircase. We also built a loft bed. We are on hold there until they have the electrical work completed.

After some time off for the holidays, TSM was back at Sheila's last week. We started building a room that will connect two homes across the narrow alley between them. We set frames to support three trusses that we made, then used 2" steel tubes over that to support the plywood flooring. We also figured where the roofs will meet, and made preparations for the center gutter and roofing metal.

Merry Christmas!
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;"
We were back on the staircase Monday and 1/2 if Tuesday to weld all the pieces and parts together, then form and pour a concrete landing at the foot of the stairs. Yes, it is steep, but it fits. I can go up ok, but need to do a duck and weave coming down....

Another rainy week makes for interesting schedules! Between showers we were able to help our pastor re-seal some seams in his gutters. The next day we were helping a Global Surge staff member with a house they are building for a family member. We set the stair stringers and started welding up the brackets that will support the steps. The following day we worked in the shop area of our house to build the rest of the brackets and then the steps themselves. I realize the stairs will be a little steep, but we have only a small opening in the concrete floor to fit them through.

Ministry home and abroad! Sharon and I are currently in the States spending some time with our family. While here, I have some projects scheduled to do for our daughters, and Sharon's parents. But TSM Ministry is still happening in the Philippines. My assistant, Rey, has been working at the home of a fellow missionary. They recently expanded their home to create a missions home, and a meeting place for Global Life University. They are now in need of more storage space so Rey is adding a second floor to the bodega.

I apologize that it's been a little while since I last posted. That doesn't mean that we haven't been busy though. We have been doing some smaller projects that have been on hold while we were at CBF church.
We made beam across a meeting room for one of our friends so an accordion room divider could be installed to make it more useful. We finally installed the window grills at CBF, cleaned out a clogged sink drain for a friend. We also installed a starlink satellite dish for another missionary, and as we were finishing that up we were called to help another missionary who had a broken pipe on their solar water heater. Both of these projects were on a day that you could burn your hand just by putting it on the metal roof! We were also called out to repair the main gate to a neighboring missionary's house. We first had to re-align the hinges before completing the job. There were several other small jobs, plus some projects at home that had been waiting for too long!
