๐ฃ On October 24, 2025, the 4th Year BS Office Administration students of Mabalacat City College, in collaboration with the Philippine Association of Students in Office Administration (PASOA), successfully held their culminating webinar entitled โInclusivity in the Workplace.โ The event brought together BSOA sections 4A, 4B, and 4C, along with their course instructor Mr. Tristan Harvey Day, Faculty-In-Charge Mr. MJ Caseja, and IBCE Dean Mr. Dennis L. Tacadena, DIT. The session served as a powerful platform for professional reflection and values formation, reinforcing MCCโs commitment to producing socially conscious and ethically grounded graduates.
๐ก A defining moment of the webinar was the compelling presentation by Ms. Camille Anne Gana, Certified Human Resource Associate, who guided participants through the transformative journey from diversity to belonging. She illustrated this progression with a powerful analogy: โDiversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance, and belonging is feeling free to dance your own way.โ Her message resonated deeply, prompting students to reflect on the real meaning of inclusivityโnot just as policy, but as culture, behavior, and everyday action.
Through open dialogue and personal sharing, Ms. Gana emphasized the value of psychological safety, empathy, and authentic leadership in creating inclusive environments. Students were encouraged to recognize exclusion, validate emotions, and foster spaces where every voice is heard and valued. The session concluded with heartfelt acknowledgments and the awarding of certificates, celebrating a collective commitment to building workplaces rooted in fairness, respect, and empowerment.
