๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ Today, we remember the courage and unity of the Filipino people during the EDSA People Power Revolution. It was a moment in history where ordinary citizens stood together for democracy and freedom, a testament to the power of peaceful resistance. Let's continue to honor their legacy by upholding these values in our daily lives.

๐ŸŽจ Earlier today at AUF Learning Commons, we held our On-the-Spot Digital Poster Making Contest, and the results were incredible! Participants poured their hearts and talent into creating powerful visuals that reflected the significance of EDSA.

๐Ÿ† A massive round of applause to our 1st place, Queencie Napoto from BMMA 2A, for the 2nd place we have Jarelle Dizon from AB COMM 1A and James Nathaniel Reyes from BMMA 1A for 3rd place. The Art Appreciation Exhibit 2024 โ€œ๐ˆ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ: ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‘๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโ€, has been a success! The program has started by having the ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒโ€™๐ฌ ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž-๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ (๐๐’๐Œ๐“-๐Ÿ๐‚), lead with the opening prayer. Followed by, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐š๐๐จ-๐ƒ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ง๐ , ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ, has welcomed the participating students and faculty by delivering her warm and inspiring speech about how art creates an impact on an individualโ€™s life and how important art is in conveying messages around us.

After Dr. Dalusungโ€™s speech, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐†๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐จ (๐๐’๐๐€ ๐Œ๐Œ ๐Ÿ๐€), ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒโ€™๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, has delivered the exhibitโ€™s statement of purpose. The introduction of judges was then followed, which was led by ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐„๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐š ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ

Together with Dr. Bernadette, Art Appreciation professors, and the Social Science Society officers, officially started the event by ribbon cutting ceremony. With that, thanks to our talented Art Appreciation students who came from different departments and colleges, their artworks have made the place stand out as theyโ€™re artworks were able to catch other students' attention.

In addition to this, the Social Sciences Society has conducted a โ€œ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งโ€ for those who participated in the event. Which really brought out the best of the art appreciation students' creativity and dedication in setting up their booth.

With that said, congratulations to ๐๐’๐Œ๐“-๐Ÿ๐… (๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก #๐Ÿ•), for winning ๐Ÿ‘๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž in the boothโ€™s competition. Secondly, ๐๐’๐Œ๐“-๐Ÿ๐ƒ (๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก #๐Ÿ“) has won ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž. And for ๐๐’๐Œ๐“-๐Ÿ๐‚ (๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก #๐Ÿ๐Ÿ) has attained the ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž for the booth competition.

Upon the successful culmination of the art exhibit, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐‘๐จ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ณ, ๐€๐ซ๐ญ ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ, delivered her closing remarks. She acknowledges the participating students, the judges, and faculty. Without their presence and participation, the event would not be a success.
Also, thanks to ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง๐š ๐๐จ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ and ๐—๐ž๐ง๐ž ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ (๐๐’๐Œ๐“-๐Ÿ๐) as they were able to showcase to the Angelenean community the hosting skills that they have! ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐€๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ!
