Brigada Eskwela is a special time of the year when schools, students, teachers, parents, and the whole community come together to help prepare for the opening of classes. It is not just about cleaning classrooms or painting wallsโitโs about showing our love and care for education and for every Filipino learner. It is our way of saying, "We are ready to support our schools, and we believe in the power of working together."
The word "Brigada" comes from the idea of bayanihanโhelping one another without expecting anything in return. It is a call for unity, service, and volunteerism. During Brigada Eskwela, people from all walks of life give their time, energy, and resources to make sure schools are ready, safe, and welcoming for students. It is a true example of how the spirit of community can make a big difference in education.
This yearโs theme, "Sama-Sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa," reminds us that we are not just cleaning schoolsโwe are helping build a nation of readers, thinkers, and future leaders. Reading is the foundation of learning, and by working together, we are making sure that every learner has a chance to read, learn, and succeed.
We would like to express our deepest thanks to all the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Presidents in SDO 1 Pangasinan who gave their full support and presence during Brigada Eskwela 2025. Your leadership, service, and passion are truly inspiring. You have shown what it means to be student leaders who care not only for your own schools but for the whole division. Your actions prove that the youth can lead with purpose and serve with heart.
Letโs continue serving together, dreaming together, and working together for a brighter future for education. Sama-sama, abante tayo para sa bayang bumabasa!
