What does it mean to be a ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ ๐˜‰๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜จ๐˜บ ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต? ๐ŸŒŠ It means learning to understand the ocean, appreciating the life within it, and recognizing the responsibility that comes with being part of its story. As BSMB students, we are not only here to learn about the seaโ€” we are here to help protect it. Our oceans need people who are willing to care, speak up, and take action. Letโ€™s start with ourselves and encourage others to make choices that help protect marine life and keep our seas healthy. ASU NEW WASHINGTON โ€“ On September 4, 2026, all students currently enrolled in the BS Marine Biology program gathered at the FMS Grounds for the first General Assembly of the Circle of Marine Biology Students (COMBS) for Academic Year 2026-2027.

The assembly was organized to present the financial report, hold open consultations regarding the proposed action plan, and finalize the official COMBS membership fee for the upcoming year.

Student officers led the discussions, emphasizing financial transparency and encouraging active student participation in the organizationโ€™s upcoming programs.

The successful event concluded with an inspiring reminder of the department's unmatched mantra: "Where the sea is our laboratory and adventure is our way of life."

Good evening, everyone!

The Circle of Marine Biology Students (COMBS) will be conducting a General Assembly tomorrow, September 4, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The assembly will be held at the FMS Ground.

All students currently enrolled in the BS Marine Biology Program are required to attend. Attendance will be taken to ensure the participation of all students.

Students who have a scheduled class during the assembly will be excused from attending. The letter received by your respective instructors will be provided for reference.

All students are advised to wear their prescribed uniform during the event.
