Munting Handog ng mga Iskolar ng Aklan State University 3.0 | December 17, 2025

The Scholars’ Brigade Organization successfully conducted its annual outreach activity, “Munting Handog ng mga Iskolar ng Aklan State University 3.0,” last December 17, 2025, in Barangay Jugas, New Washington, Aklan, the identified beneficiary of the program.

This yearly initiative brings together all student-beneficiaries of R.A. No. 10931, also known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA), in a collective effort to give back to the community as a meaningful form of service and gratitude.

The activity was graced by the presence of Dr. Elson C. Gonzales, Adviser, Mrs. Christine Faith A. Inventado, Co-Adviser, and all the officers of the Scholars’ Brigade Organization and Brgy council of Brgy. Jugas, New Washington, Aklan headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Ramon Yrel P. Teodosio, whose guidance, support, and leadership greatly contributed to the success of the event.

Through Munting Handog, the iskolar ng bayan reaffirm their commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and unity, embodying the true essence of being beneficiaries of free and accessible quality education.

Call for Scholarship Application under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) for Academic Year 2025-2026!!!

This application is open to all students (all Programs and Year Levels)
who are currently ENROLLED this 1st Semester, A.Y. 2025-2026 at Aklan State University in New Washington ONLY.

All students may apply EXCEPT students who have existing Scholarship Programs such as Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES); Tulong-Dunong Program (TDP); CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP); Coconut Farmers and their Families (COSCHO) or any other government-funded StuFAPs other than Free Higher Education (RA 10931).

Beneficiaries of the Provincial Government College Scholarship Program (PGCSP) may opt to apply but will choose one (1) Scholarship Program to continue once qualified.

‎The Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) Program of the Aklan State University - New Washington campus proudly celebrates the success of its examinees in the recent Customs Broker Licensure Examination held on November 17-18, 2025.

‎Congratulations to the 31 graduates who are now officially Licensed Customs Brokers!

‎The BSCA Program achieved an outstanding 80% passing rate, a performance that notably exceeds the national passing percentage of 72.71%. This result underscores ASU's commitment to excellence and the high academic standards maintained by the Program.
