PYAP Aklan Secures Top 3 Spot in PITCH Competition, Wins โ‚ฑ100,000 Grant

In a remarkable display of vision and leadership, PYAP Aklan proudly secured a Top 3 spot at the prestigious PITCH competition on October 16, 2025, at the Aklan Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo, earning a โ‚ฑ100,000 project grant to bring their innovative idea to life.

Their winning project, โ€œPamatian: Voices of Children in Conflict with the Law Raising Awareness on Drugs and Substance Abuse,โ€ aims to amplify the voices of vulnerable youth through storytelling and film, raising community awareness and inspiring collective action to support out-of-school and disadvantaged children.

Congratulations to our PYAP Aklan Youth PITCH representatives:

for winning the special award, Best Impact Project Proposal Award during the PITCH Competition held at La Casa Espaรฑola on October 4, 2025.

With the full support of their coach Mr. Abmel Indanan Immid (SSEAYP Batch Hiraya, from Zamboanga City) and PYAP Provincial President Maโ€™am Mary Mershe Dela Cruz, the team proudly showcased their project and advocacy.

The awarding ceremony is set on October 10, 2025. If declared winners, their project will receive funding support from Governor Jose Enrique M. Miraflores through the Provincial Youth Development Office, enabling implementation for the benefit of Akeanon youth.

Their project, โ€œPamatian: Voices of Children in Conflict with the Law Raising Awareness on Drugs and Substance Abuse,โ€ seeks to raise community awareness through storytelling and filma encourage collective action to uplift out-of-school and disadvantaged youth.
