The Makato Fisherfolks Producers Cooperative proudly held its 11th Annual General Membership Assembly with the theme “Navigating Success through Unity and Trust.”
Together, we reflected on our journey through the presentation of CY 2025 accomplishments, reviewed the status and performance of our projects, election of new set of officers and set our course ahead with the CY 2026 plans and budget.
More than reports and numbers, this gathering highlights the strength of our cooperative—built on trust, collaboration, and the unwavering support of our members. The event concluded with a fun-filled raffle, bringing smiles and excitement to everyone.

"Sustaining the Waves of Progress: A Decade of Unity, Resilience, and Growth"

The Makato Fisherfolks Producers Cooperative proudly marked its 10th year with a series of meaningful and festive activities that reflected the heart of the organization. The celebration began with an Ownership Meeting where members revisited the cooperative's journey, shared accomplishments, and renewed their commitment to its future. A Thanksgiving Mass followed, offering a moment of reflection and gratitude for a decade of resilience, growth, and unity.
In the spirit of environmental care and teamwork, members came together for a coastal clean-up, reaffirming their dedication to protecting the marine ecosystem. The day was capped with high-energy activities including traditional boat racing and a friendly beach volleyball competition—bringing laughter, teamwork, and community pride to the shore. Ten years strong, the cooperative continues to thrive through shared purpose and unwavering solidarity.
