Movement of Gratitude

Movement of Gratitude The Movement also partners with other organizations and government agencies on volunteerism, literacy, education, sports, environment, and health programs.

The Movement envisions uplifting lives by nurturing the positive development of young individuals in the community through well-rounded experiences, volunteerism, and servant leadership. ❀ Movement of Gratitude is a project launched on April 1, 2020, during the hype of the COVID-19 pandemic that eventually turned into a local youth organization registered under the National Youth Commission. We cannot save everybody but we can always do something for somebody and that being said, our primary goal is to give help and hope to those who have less in life. Various projects such as donation drives of food packs, milk, newborn kits, and hygiene kits, feeding programs, distribution of activity booklets and school supplies, community storytelling, and Christmas gift-giving were done under the Movement of Gratitude.

Inspired by this power couple, Robert Hicks and Lel Reyes Hicks of Mad Dog Motorcycle Club, Philippines, our extended family at the Movement of Gratitude. πŸ’ž

They shared 100 McDonald's breakfast meals with random tricycle drivers, security personnel, and Kalibo Auxiliary Police. 😊

A simple breakfast, but a meaningful act of kindness. It reminds us that gratitude becomes even more beautiful when it is shared, and that goodness can start with something as simple as making someone feel seen and appreciated. πŸ₯°

Keep spreading kindness and gratitude! βœ¨β€πŸ’›

Movement of Gratitude Founder and Adviser, Maria Solita Zaldivar Guzman, was invited as one of the panelists of the Nabas Municipal Federated Parent-Teacher Association on September 18 at the Nabas Civic Court as part of the 2026 Grand Parenting and School Partnership Event, with the theme β€œEmpowering Families, Building Safe and Supportive Schools: Together for Every Child.” 🧑

A meaningful conversation on education, parenthood, inclusion, and raising not only successful children, but good human beings. 😊

Success is more than grades and awards. It is raising children with a peaceful heart, clean conscience, and good heart. πŸ˜‡

Every child deserves not just a seat, but a sense of belonging. And raising good human beings is something we can only build together as a community. ✨

This Christmas, let us make the joy of giving reach even more hearts. ❀️

We are calling on our generous givers to prepare a Christmas shoe box filled with love, thoughtfulness, and little things that can bring a big smile to a child or family in need. πŸ₯°

Because Christmas is not only about what we receive, but about the joy of being able to give. ✨

The more Givers we have, the more Receivers we can reach. 🎁🀍

Through the Movement of Gratitude's Christmas Shoe Box With Love Project (Year 8), let us fill more shoeboxes, touch more lives, and make this Christmas a little brighter for someone who needs it most. πŸŽ„β„

(This video is from Year 2 of our Christmas Shoebox with Love Project in Tagororoc, Nabas, Aklan, where almost 200 recipients experienced the joy of receiving a little something prepared with love. 😍)

One step closer to building a community where mental health, hope, and compassionate support are strengthened. πŸ’š

Our Movement of Gratitude Founder and Adviser, Maria Solita Zaldivar Guzman, joins the Training of Instructors on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support under the Kahayag ag Pagea-um (Light and Hope) Program of the Local Government Unit of Kalibo. ✨

This is one step of many toward equipping more advocates, strengthening crisis response, and bringing light and hope to those who need it most. πŸ«‚
