Today, April 5th, 2025, we proudly celebrated the successful implementation of the ALPABASA program—a journey filled with dedication, teamwork, and a shared passion for learning. It brings us so much joy and gratitude to witness the remarkable improvement in our learners’ letter recognition and phonics awareness. From shy, hesitant readers to more confident and engaged learners, the growth has been truly inspiring. Every hour of planning, every activity, and every challenge we faced along the way has been worth it.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Teacher Rowena D. Reolo for her unwavering guidance, to Hon. Glenn Azucena, our supportive Barangay Captain, to the ever-encouraging parents, and of course, to our amazing students who continue to remind us why we do what we do. This milestone proves that when a community works together, beautiful things happen. Here’s to more milestones and learning victories ahead!

LTS Trainees Contribute to Memorable Recognition Day at Daycare Center

The LTS trainees were thrilled to be invited to assist in the daycare center's Recognition Day, where they played an integral role in making the event a success. From helping with preparations to taking on the responsibilities of emceeing, and even performing an intermission number, the trainees enjoyed being part of this heartwarming occasion that celebrated the accomplishments of the young learners.

The trainees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to contribute, and the experience proved to be both fun and fulfilling. It was a wonderful chance to engage with the children, support their milestones, and witness the joy on their faces. The teamwork and spirit of the event made it a day to remember.

A special thank you to Mrs. Rowena Durban for inviting the us to participate in such a meaningful celebration. Your trust and support made it possible for us to share in this beautiful experience. We are truly grateful and we look forward to future opportunities to work together in the community.

Bringing Stories to Life: ALPABASA Day 4 ✨

March 29, 2025 – Another exciting day was filled with learning, laughter, and discovery! The kids eagerly participated in storytelling sessions, bringing tales to life with their creativity and enthusiasm. Their imaginations soared as they listened, shared, and even acted out stories, making reading a truly magical experience.

In addition, they took part in fun and interactive Phonics activities, building a strong foundation for their reading skills. With each sound and syllable, they grew more confident in their abilities, turning learning into an enjoyable adventure.

Let’s continue nurturing young minds with the joy of reading and literacy!

On March 22, 2025, the third day of the Alpabasa Program at Poblacion Dawis Daycare Center was another inspiring day of fun and learning. Through engaging phonics exercises, interactive letter recognition games, and captivating storytelling sessions, young learners eagerly developed their reading and writing skills. These activities not only enhance their literacy but also make the learning experience enjoyable and meaningful.

The volunteers are delighted to be part of this journey, as it allows them to teach while also fostering their own personal growth. Day 2 of ALPABASA Implementation in Poblacion, Sitio Dawis, Ajuy, Iloilo

Today March 15 2025 marked another inspiring day of learning and growth as we continued our ALPABASA journey with the eager young learners of Sitio Dawis. The children actively participated in a series of engaging and interactive activities focused on mastering the alphabet — from recognizing letters to tracing and coloring them with joy and creativity.

On March 8, 2025, the Alpabasa Program team successfully conducted an orientation and project implementation at Sitio Dawis Poblacion Ajuy Iloilo Daycare Center, under the supervision of Mrs. Rowena Durban-Reolo.

The event began with an introduction to the Alpabasa Program, highlighting its mission to enhance young learners' literacy skills through alphabet and phonics awareness. The team presented engaging activities and interactive lessons to help children develop strong reading foundations.

During the event, Mr. Charles Arnillo shared his experiences as a former NSRC trainee and his involvement in ALS initiatives, while also expressing his gratitude to the parents of the participants for their time and engagement. The session fostered meaningful interactions between the Alpabasa Program team and the learners, ensuring a supportive and enriching learning environment.

Special thanks to Mrs. Rowena Durban-Reolo for her guidance and support in the program. The day ended with excitement and optimism as we continue our commitment to nurturing literacy among young learners.
