Members of farmers associations in Lapinigan, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur participated in the Farmers' Training on Adaptive Balanced Fertilization Strategy (ABFS)for Rice Capacity Building for Farmer Cooperators held on September 18, 2024 at the FRIEND Research and Training Center. The participants were active members of the Alang-alang Farmers' Association, Lapinigan Farmer Irrigators' Association and the Apogan Farmers' Association. This training was sponsored by the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Francisco with resource persons from the national DA Office. We would like to thank Ms. Viña R. Ranoco, Municipal Agriculturist, and her team, for the privilege of being a part of this endeavor. May God richly bless the farmers and all those supporting them in any way possible. ☝️🙏❤️

Mothers of the beneficiaries of FRIEND's nutrition program under the Sarah's Table Project, were accorded a training course on rug and pot holder making/weaving on October 4, 2024. This activity was aimed at developing skills for an alternative income generating project for their respective families. Activities for this program are undertaken in coordination with the Municipal Nutrition Office of San Francisco and the Barangay Nutrition Scholars of Lapinigan. Thanks to our participants and partners in community development. God bless us all.

On September 6, 2024, we conducted a Financial Management Course for Countryside Households among parents of the beneficiaries of the Sarah’s table project currently being implemented by the FRIEND Foundation at P-1, Lapinigan, SFADS.

FRIEND is again implementing the Sarah's Table Project at Purok 1, Barangay Lapinigan, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. It is a nutrition program which includes a 21-day feeding activity among children 0-59 months old, and activities for their respective parents. These activities include financial literacy session, livelihood trainings, promotion of backyard and container vegetable gardening and others that will be found appropriate in supporting the efforts towards improving their quality of life. All of these are undertaken in coordination with the Municipal Nutrition Action Office of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, and in cooperation with the LGU of Lapinigan. We appreciate all the support we have received from friends for this mission. God bless your hearts! ☝️🙏❤✨

Planting trees today for a greener tomorrow. Let's nurture the earth together, one tree at a time. Led by the board members of FRIEND, MOLD and PBC-MBA, employees and some family members had fun in this annual activity. Our sincere thanks to Langga & Kharl Arevalo for the planting materials from Pastor Sol's collection. They now belong to SOLITA's Orchard at the FRIEND diversified organic farm. 🌳🌱🤲🏼🪴🌏🍃💚
