๐๐ด๐ผ๐ผ, ๐๐ฎ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ป โ Organized by the Rotary Club of Agoo in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Agoo, the Ride to End Polio successfully gathered advocates to promote public health awareness on polio.
Held on October 17 at Innerville Resort and Pavilion, San Nicolas Central, Agoo, La Union, the event brought together 21 cyclist-advocates from the Rotary Club of Vigan to pedal for a shared causeโending polio.
โThis is more than just a cycling journey. This is a ride fueled by purpose, unity, and compassion,โ said Mrs. Tessie P. Mangaoang, President of the Rotary Club of Agoo, in her opening remarks.
Adding a fun and lighthearted twist to the event, participants played โFind the Rotary Logoโโwith five lucky individuals rewarded with a round of โHep-hep Bira.โ
In a heartwarming moment, when only two players remained, one participant willingly gave their prize to the otherโreflecting the genuine spirit of Rotary.
From the Rotary Club of Vigan, Assistant Governor (AG) of Area 1, Nanie Pasimio, also expressed his gratitude for the heart warming accomodation of Rotary Club of Agoo.
The Ride to End Polio was more than an awareness campaign; it was a testament to service, compassion, and shared advocacy.
Through simple yet meaningful acts, participants proved that together, we can make a difference and move closer to a polio-free world.
