Today marks the final day of our week-long celebration here in Lacub—a vibrant journey filled with meaningful activities, shared learning, and empowered youth leadership.

On behalf of the SK Federation and the Lacub Local Youth Development Council, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and journeyed with us:

🏛️ To the Local Government Unit of Lacub, headed by Mayor Estelita Bersamina and Vice Mayor Nestor Bersamina, together with our SB Members—Hon. Mario Eduarte Jr., Hon. Benito Eguem Jr., Hon. Reynaldo Bernal Jr., Hon. Danny Lingbaoan, Hon. Narciso Sagmayao, Hon. Leonardo Eguem Jr., Hon. Alejandro Feraren Sr., Hon. Edgardo Bulaay, SB Secretary Cielo Mar Caoagas, and LIGA President Hon. Reinhard Eduarte—thank you for your financial support, guidance, and unwavering belief in the potential of the youth. Your leadership laid the foundation for this successful and historic celebration.

🎙️ To our resource speakers from MSWDO, LDRRMO, RHU, PNP, and Diocesan Youth Ministry of Abra—your insights helped shape our youth into more informed and engaged citizens.

🙌 To our dedicated SK officials and Youth Organization Presidents—your leadership, energy, and teamwork made this celebration possible. Thank you for facilitating each activity and ensuring the success of this historic week.

🏫 To Alfredo D. Bersamina National High School and Our Lady of Guadalupe School of Lacub, Abra Inc.—thank you for your cooperation and support throughout the celebration. Your partnership helped create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for our youth to grow and thrive.

🫶 To all the kabataan who actively involved themselves in the different activities—your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment brought this celebration to life. You are the heartbeat of Linggo ng Kabataan, and your participation is what made this week truly meaningful.

🧑‍💼 To our Local Youth Development Officer, Mr. Lemuel John M. Ferrer—thank you for your tireless efforts, from crafting the schedule of activities to setting meetings and providing unwavering support throughout the entire celebration. Your commitment, even through sleepless nights and countless behind-the-scenes tasks, was the backbone of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025. Your passion and perseverance inspired us all and ensured that every detail was thoughtfully executed.

⚡ Today, we proudly turned over two mini electric generators to Alfredo D. Bersamina National High School and Our Lady of Guadalupe School of Lacub, Inc.—commemorative gifts that symbolize our commitment to education and youth empowerment, given in honor of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025. These will help ensure learning continues even during brownouts and blackouts.

🌟 This year’s celebration is historic: for the first time, all barangays in Lacub united for a joint Linggo ng Kabataan and a full week of activities. A proud milestone and a powerful testament to youth collaboration and community spirit.

📣 With this year’s theme, “Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond,” we pledge to continue driving change, fostering leadership, and building a more progressive Lacub.

PCpl Ma. Jeannie Claire A. Atmosfera (Lacub MPS) on the dangers of Cybercrime and how to stay safe online 🛡️

Ms. Delia Bernal (MSWD) who opened our eyes to Gender and Sensitivity, promoting respect and inclusivity 💖🌈

Ms. Densel A. Diano (RHU) who guided us through Mental Health Awareness with “The Science of Happiness: Exploring the Mind-Body Connection” 🧠

Ms. Jane Frances B. Reyes (LDRRM Officer) who empowered us with knowledge on RA10121 and disaster preparedness 🌍🚨

🌿💦 Nature + Youth Power = Epic Day at Mamongbonglon Falls! 💪🌳

As part of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025, the awesome youth of Lacub teamed up with Lacub MPS, Philippine Army, and Barangay Officials of Poblacion for a clean-up, trail clearing, and tree planting adventure! 🧹✂️🌱

We picked up trash, trimmed wild weeds along the stairs, and gave Mamongbonglon Falls a fresh new glow ✨

Because saving the planet is cooler when done together! 😎🌍
