📅 30 January 2026 – First Meeting for Annual Program Announcements

Today was a milestone for Anglicare PNG Inc as we convened our first meeting of the year to launch the upcoming "Helping Community Programme". The session was led and inspired by Heni Meke, National Director of Anglicare PNG Inc, whose vision continues to guide our mission of serving communities across Papua New Guinea with compassion and purpose.

The gathering brought together the dedicated Anglicare Team alongside our valued team from USAID, reflecting the strength of collaboration and shared commitment. Together, we reviewed the programme activities that will soon be announced publicly, reaffirming our focus on health, education, and community outreach.

This meeting set a powerful tone for 2026—a year of renewed energy, strengthened partnerships, and impactful service. The official announcements for the Helping Community Programme will be shared in the coming days, and we look forward to engaging with communities nationwide.

🌍 Welcome to Anglicare PNG Inc.

Established in the early 2000s, Anglicare PNG Inc was founded to respond to the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Papua New Guinea. Since then, we have remained steadfast in our mission: to provide health and social services free from stigma and discrimination, ensuring that every person receives care with dignity and compassion.

As of December 2024, our Begabari Clinic in the National Capital District (NCD) and Newtown Clinic in the Western Highlands Province have registered over 5,000 men, women, and children on HIV treatment. Yet, the challenge remains urgent—our clinics continue to report 3–4 new HIV cases every day, underscoring the critical need for collaborative action.

At Anglicare PNG, we believe that partnerships and collective efforts are the key to addressing HIV and building healthier, stronger communities. Together, we can turn the tide against HIV/AIDS and create a future filled with hope and resilience.
