Our Story

Alice Muhut, a devoted educator who has served the remote communities of East Sepik Province for over a decade, recently faced a life-threatening ordeal. After delivering her third child via Caesarean section, Alice developed severe complications, including internal bleeding and infection.

Now, as she battles for her own life, her family has exhausted all available financial resources. We are humbly reaching out to compassionate individuals, community members, and supporters across Papua New Guinea and beyond to assist in her recovery.

How the Funds Will Be Used

We aim to raise K25,000 to cover:

K7,000 – Hospitalization, surgery, and medications

K6,000 – Medical evacuation and travel expenses

K5,000 – Accommodation and sustenance for her caregiver

K7,000 – Post-surgery monitoring, laboratory tests, and recovery supplies

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Dickson Makau, and today I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea to help a truly selfless woman — Alice Muhut, a beloved primary school teacher working in one of the most remote parts of East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.
Just a few weeks ago, Alice gave birth to her beautiful baby through an emergency cesarean section. What should have been a joyful celebration of new life has quickly turned into a fight for survival.
During the procedure, complications arose that have left Alice in critical condition, suffering from severe post-surgical infections, intense abdominal pain, and internal bleeding. She has been unable to return to work or even stand without help. Her condition requires urgent specialist care in Wewak or possibly transfer to Port Moresby, but the costs are far beyond what her humble teaching income can manage.
Alice has dedicated her life to educating children in remote communities, walking miles to reach classrooms, and giving her all — even when resources were few. Now she needs us.
