Cancer impacts individuals, families, and entire societies. Fighting it requires collective action, advanced approaches, and reasonable healthcare systems that reach every person regardless of their circumstances.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common infection that is passed through sexual contact, when exposed to HPV the body's immune system typically prevents the virus from causing issues however in some people the virus can lead to cervical cancer. Cervical cancer does not usually show symptoms until it is in its advanced stages, so the best way to prevent cervical cancer is through regular screening tests. If symptoms do occur you may experience vaginal bleeding between periods or after menopause, painful in*******se, fatigue, lower back pain, bleeding after in*******se, unusual vaginal discharge, leg pain or swelling. These symptoms can also be caused by other more common conditions, so it is important to get a medical check-up to confirm the cause.
