TIME OUT FOR MARRIAGE COURSE – A MARRIAGE RESET AT PNG’S 50TH
Every Sunday afternoon throughout the Month of August, 2026.

As marriages and families battle threats, storms and brokenness, there is a great need for healing, restoration and a rebuilding of godly values and foundation. What an appropriate moment to reset marriages to God’s godly principles at PNG’s 50th year of independence.

TIME OUT FOR MARRIAGE Course is designed for married couples as well as those who are engaged and are planning their wedding. The Course will cover topics such as God's Plan for Marriage, Impact of Wounding before and Within Marriage, Expressing of Emotions, Developing Trust, A Talk on S*x, Hope for Moving Forward and many more.

The Course will also cover legal aspect of the promise "I Do" led by the TCF Chairman, Ganjiki D Wayne. With guidance from our registered Religious Celebrant, Pastor Dr Julian Robert Kivori , this Course will conclude with a Ceremony on Renewal of Vows and signing of Papers.

Anger... How do we handle it?

Anger is an emotion that everyone experiences. Expressed and used in godly ways it can be a wonderful motivator. It starts with a trigger, often unnoticeable to most. A small thing but then it stirs a place deep within and the reaction happens before you can stop it. Sadly, for most of us, we have not been taught how to express our anger in godly ways. The more anger we don’t process properly, the more we trap it inside, leaving us with a stockpile of am******on that when sparked becomes an inevitable, uncontrollable explosion.

This course is of benefit to all of us, but perhaps particularly if you know that anger is an issue for you, either because it is difficult to control or because you have never been allowed to express it and you bottle it up.

The foundational teaching on the day identifies the specific roots of anger, whilst the practical teaching on the rightful expression of anger shows how to bring this powerful emotion back under godly control.

There will be group discussion and opportunity during the course to receive personal prayer ministry.

We had over 60 people who participated in our monthly event on the topic "Understanding Deliverance Ministry" on Saturday, 16th May 2026.

It was a healing and equipping event attended by over 50 participants from 11 different local churches and ministries within Port Moresby City - RSKMC, Hohola United CHURCH (HUC), Gerehu United CHURCH (GUC), Boroko United CHURCH (BUC), North Waigani United CHURCH (NWUC), Waigani United Church (WUC), Poreporena United Church, Impact Ministries, Debenis Living WATER (DLW) Church, Boroko Baptist Church (BBC) and Tokarara Christian FELLOWSHIP (TCF).

UNDERSTANDING DELIVERANCE MINISTRY:
Saturday, 16th May, 2026
8.30AM - 3.30PM

This course examines deliverance ministry, an integral part of the healing ministry of Jesus, from both scriptural and practical perspectives. It explains how demonic footholds can be established in a person's life and presents key principles by which captives can be set free.

The course is designed to train and equip you if you are called to the healing ministry and will greatly benefit all those involved in spiritual leadership within the Body of Christ.

Teaching is illustrated from extensive ministry experience and includes:

*The Encounters of Jesus with Satan and the Demonic:*
We will look at some of the events in Jesus' own ministry and from these draw vital principles that apply today.

*Satan's Battle Strategy:*
Satan's strategy and how he uses the demonic realm to achieve his objectives. Explains the work and character of demons and how they seek to influence people's lives.

*Principle Demonic Footholds:*
How the demonic can be given rights in our lives, both through our own sins and as a consequence on the sins of others. Also covers the consequences of generational sin.

*Preparing Someone to Receive Deliverance:*
Key principles for setting people free from bo***ge and oppression. The importance of forgiveness, right heart attitudes and making right choices.

We look forward to having members of your church Prayer Teams or Counselling Teams to come along to be equipped at this event so that they can return and minister effectively in your local church.

Our appreciation and thanks to Keapara Bethel III United Church for our Church Visit on April 17th - 19th, 2026.

We had one teaching session on Friday night and four sessions on Saturday.

On Sunday we led the main service. We were humbly honoured to pray for the whole village by having 9 representatives of the 9 sub-clans of Keapara Village step forward together with the local pastor and church leaders.

Chiefs of these nine sub-clans were there 150 years ago when they welcomed Dr Lawes and his Missionary Team to Keapara Village on the 5th of April 1876.
