We’re proud to have been part of the 2026 Corporate Health Champions Challenge with Equal Playing Field!

This year’s challenge brought together 8 teams for a day centred around health, wellness, fitness and community, while also raising funds to support schools across the National Capital District. Together, the teams raised an incredible K40,000, which will support the establishment of canteens and strengthen health advocacy programs across 10 partner schools in NCD.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to support initiatives that bring people together and contribute to healthier, stronger communities.

Thank you to the Equal Playing Field team for having TRDC on board as a sponsor and for the important work you continue to do through health advocacy and community development.

Proud to have been part of it, and looking forward to seeing next year’s challenge go even bigger!

A big thank you to our venue partners, Lifegym, for continuing to support The Resistance Dance Company. ❤️

Life Gymnasium has been our Official Training Venue, giving our dancers a space to train, prepare, grow and push themselves to new levels.

As we gear up for upcoming competitions, having a consistent home for our training and preparation means so much to us. Partnerships like this make it possible for our dancers to focus on the work and chase excellence.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust, support and partnership. From our training sessions to competition preparation, Life Gym has been an important part of the TRDC journey.

Here’s to more training, more growth and more trophies. 🏆

Highlights of our 3 crews at this years Mountain Dew PNG x Wan Squad PNG National Dance Championships; The Resistance, UPRIZE & LoudHER.

All three crews gave it their best with The Resistance taking 3rd Place again this year.

A very special thank you to one of our own OG LoudHER girlies, Delma James (Delly), for doing the makeup for the LoudHER girls for Nationals.

Delma has been part of TRDC way before LoudHER was established as a crew and became the first Captain of LoudHER before taking a short hiatus, so having one of our own come back and pour into the next generation of girls made this even more special. Thank you for helping bring the final details of their look together and making sure our girls stepped onto that stage feeling confident and ready.

The outfit concept was designed by LoudHER Co-Captain Mary Ruth Kua (MayDay), who also made her choreography debut at a high-level competition this year.

From concept to choreography to makeup, this was truly a LoudHER family effort.

A huge thank you to Maimai Designs for helping bring the competition looks for The Resistance and UPRIZE to life for the 2026 PNG National Dance Championships.

Both crews came into the process with their own creative direction, and Maimai Designs helped us turn those ideas into actual stage-ready pieces.

From fabrics and materials to cutting, sewing and bringing the final details together, we really appreciate the time and effort that went into helping us execute the vision.

Costumes are such an important part of performance as they help establish character, identity and the world a crew is trying to create before they even take their first step.

A very special THANK YOU to J&A Elegance PNG for supporting the ladies of The Resistance Crew and helping bring our Nationals 2026 look to life.

Your makeup work played such an important part in completing the vision for our girls and we’re incredibly grateful that you chose to support TRDC. From the stage lights to the smallest details, the makeup helped transform our ladies into the characters and warriors we imagined for this performance.

Our concept for The Resistance Crew this year was inspired by warriors, ninjas and anime, representing strength, discipline, precision and fearlessness. The goal was to create a look that felt powerful before the girls even moved.
