Mary is our Operations Coordinator, Captain of our all female crew LoudHER, and one of our Junior Choreographers. Every day she leads with humility, commitment and heart, both on and off the dance floor.

To now see her stepping forward to represent her culture and community through Hiri Hanenamo is something we're incredibly proud of. We know she'll carry herself with the same grace, strength and leadership that she brings to TRDC every single day.

We are thrilled to announce that Mary Ruth has officially become the 6th young lass to show her interest and complete her registration for the prestigious 2026 Hiri Hanenamo. She is nominated by her local councilor Hon. Gavera Areni an supported by her family.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has shown interest and submitted their applications so far. Your passion for safeguarding our Motu Koitabu history and Hiri Trade traditions is truly inspiring.

At The Resistance Dance Company, we're committed to creating opportunities for our members to gain valuable workplace experience and develop professionally.

This past week, we were honoured to provide casual staff to support the Papua LNG Development Forum 2026.

We would like to sincerely thank our finance and strategic partners, Focus Marketing Solutions PNG, for entrusting TRDC with this opportunity. Partnerships like these allow our dancers to gain experience in professional environments while continuing to grow as young leaders.

Congratulations to the National Petroleum Authority on delivering a fantastic first week of the Papua LNG Development Forum. We have been proud to play a small part in supporting the event and we're excited for what the coming weeks will bring.

Most importantly, we're incredibly proud of our team members. The feedback we've received regarding their professionalism, attitude and work ethic has been nothing but positive, and they continue to represent TRDC with excellence wherever they go.
