New comers alert (Team Ba'ara) from Delena Village❗️❗️

We Welcome Team Ba'ara from Delena Village, Team Ba'ara will be a new inclusion to the HSN Arena. Managed by Mr Antony Tavesi The boys from Delena are ready to show case their Talents to the wider Kairuku,Mekeo and Kuni LLGs.

This will be our first time and we dont know how HSN operates but We are willing to learn and compete.HSN is creating Opportunities for Local and Raw talents players and we also want to be part of this movement,its all about youth development and engagement. (Mr Tavesi Said)

Biotou’s SMB Highway Norths are Back for the Kairuku Leg❗️❗️

After the Mekeo Leg in Eboa Village The SMB highways Norths are back again to show case there Raw Talents.

The Lads from Biotou are back to prove a point that they’re just not a numbers team but contender.Led by Team Manager Mr Jerome To’oro the team will register 3 teams in all Divisions.

He said the interest grew after the Mekeo Leg and the boys are excited to take part again. HSN is creating opportunities for the village boys to taste Rugby 9s on a different level and it’s good. (To’oro Said)

AVE RLC Utility Junior Rei aka White Croc to Lead Pinu Agebaga in the Kairuku Leg ❗️❗️

After a successful run in the Mekeo Leg in Eboa village The Pinu Agebaga Weapon picked up their form today.

After bowing out in the Cup Semi finals in Golden Point to Doa Rubber Roots (13-12) in the Mekeo leg the boys from Pinu are back to go further this time. We started our preparations early and we can’t wait for the tournament to kick off. (Rei Said)

Rei said thank you to the HSN Committee for giving them the chance to attend the Mekeo Leg after missing out in the Bereina and Kuni Leg.He said that his team is new but they’ve been playing together for a while now and it showed in the Mekeo Leg. We didn’t expect to go all the way to the Semifinals but we took every game like it was a grand final and it built our momentum in the Tournament.(Said Rei)

We are excited that the Kairuku Leg will be hosted in Hisiu Village. It’s close to us so hopefully we get our supporters over to cheer us on as we represent our Village Pinu.(Rei Said)

Host Village Hisiu Picked their Forms Today❗️❗️

Jason Paru (TM) of Hisiu Knights said they’re excited and Ready for the Tournament.Under Mr Paru's Leadership Hisiu Attended All the HSN tournament since the Birth of HSN in 2021 in Bereina.

Jason Said this will be the first and Biggest Tournament Hisiu Village will be Hosting.Its something we never thought that would come this soon to our area because we also have other Kairuku teams that also participated in the HSN circuit that also have every right to be the Host.

Season Contenders Kuni Stones are back again for the Kairuku Leg in Hisiu Village.Kuni Stones are no strangers to the HSN Arena,after Participating in Bereina in 2025,The boys never Missed a HSN Tournament.

EVI Brothers to Lead inauaia Roosters in the Kairuku Leg in Hisiu ❗️❗️

Bartholomew EVI aka the JET 400 Picked up the Inauaia Roosters forms today.

The EVI Brothers will dawn the Inauaia Roosters Jersey in Hisiu Village in the HSN Kairuku Leg.After getting eliminated in the normal Rounds in the Mekeo Leg in Eboa Village the Boys from Rosvill are back to show that their not just a team making up numbers.

The inclusion of the EVI brothers will boast the Team back to its Glory Days.The Hela Wigmen lock said playing for there village is something they hold dear to their hearts,It’s there pride there home the place they come from. Said Gideon EVI after interviewed by the Hiritano Super Nines Committee.

The EVI brothers said it was disappointing to hear that the boys got eliminated in the normal Rounds in the Mekeo leg. We Inauaia Roosters are a team that always see the last day of every tournament we attend so it was Frustrating.(Bartholomew Said)

Gideon and I will be available this time for the Kairuku Leg because the DEM CUP finals will be played soon. Hopefully Gideon and I,inclusion Will boast the boys confidence and determination,Will and power to go all the way. (Bartholomew EVI said)

The Hiritano Super Nines Tournament is growing from Strength to Strength from each Legs and it’s good. Such tournaments will grow the game in our area and keep our village boys busy and committed to playing Rugby League.

Hiritano Super Nines is the way forward for us in the Kairuku Mekeo and Kuni Areas.Now it’s not all about which village is the best and all it’s all about building bonds and friendships between communities and villages through Rugby.Everyone wants to win and get seen but we all must know the purpose of this Tournament it’s all about turning moments into opportunities and creating long lasting friendships.(The EVI brothers said)

Only a few of us are in the Semi Professional arena and HSN is giving the opportunity to our Boys to get selected and come test their strengths in the City.This is the way forward for us to get more boys playing in the semi professionally level in PNG. HSN is the bridge that is missing in our area the bridge you walk on and make something out of Rugby.(Bartholomew Said)

HSN - Kuni Grand Finalist and Mekeo Leg Top 16 Finalists Saint Paul’s Veifa’a has Picked up their Registration Forms this morning. After so many Years Saint Paul’s is back on the Pedestal has a Contender again. The New Generation has made a statement that they’re a Team to watch out for after Pushing Inauabui Hawks the champions to the Edge in a Trilling Play offs game in the Mekeo Leg. Saint Paul’s Dominated the game from start till the last minute but the experience of the Hawks showed at the Final hooter.Saint Paul’s Veifa’a is a Sleeping Giant and They just woke up after a very long while.

Can the boys from Viakou go all the way this time in the Kairuku Leg after learning from there mistakes they did in the Mekeo Leg? We will wait and See in Hisiu Village.

Under the Leadership of former AVE RLC center Paul Pio Jnr, The Saint Paul’s Veifa’a Team has been a team that people are having conversations about this days when talking about the Hiritano Super Nines.

After Speaking to Paul he said after the defeat to the mighty Hawks the boys where really disappointed. He said we had the chance to win but we took the wrong options at crucial times of the game. He also said Loses are lesson learnt and we will only get better, he told his team that we can’t blame anyone but ourselves and go back to the drawing board to fix our mistakes and come back stronger in the Kairuku Leg.Our team is still at the crawling stages it’s a new team we still working out combinations and plays and defensive patterns Paul Said speaking to the HSN committees.

He also said we are preparing well and we are ready to go again the Saints Will march on,no matter what.
