In a historic first, delegates from West Papua came to Parliament in Canberra to tell us the truth about what’s happening back home, the mass displacement and ongoing violence, the logging and ecocide of their ancient forests. This is happening to our neighbours, and Australia must push for more action, including an urgent UN human rights investigation. Thank you to our West Papuan friends, including Benny Wenda, for their courage in sharing this, and to all the MPs and supporters who came along to learn.
