Helping Hands For Children - Alotau

To think about this quote literally may lead us to believe it is unreal. But when we think about it more deeply, more carefully, we find ourselves thinking about how this makes sense to us on a personal level. I'm drawn to the story of the young lad whose little lunch of two fish and five bread was used to feed the five thousand people thousands of years ago and the song 'Little is much when God is in it' comes to mind. When God is in the little that we share, no matter how old we may be, he will multiply that to what you may never expect.

Hi Friends in Alotau,

A gentle reminder that if you still have some things at home that you don't need and wish to give to this cause, please reach out to us. We've got so far 2 boxes of donated (used but still in good condition) books of assorted types and a small bag of children clothing. Thank you to Ju Dee for your little gifts. This group voluntarily collects donations and shares/distributes with people especially children in need in our communities. I recently had Andrew reach out to me with his request for some donations on the mentioned (message above). I'm kindly reaching out to anyone in Alotau, if you have anything at home that you don't need and wish to donate to this group, please let us know so we can advise where to drop off. We will be gathering as much as we can from friends who are willing to help before passing onto Andrew to take back by the end of July.
