The committee (KDRC) was formed in response to the devastation caused by the 7.5 magnitude earthquake in the SHP, HELA, WESTERN AND ENGA Provinces on the 26th February 2018, where Kutubu LLG was devastated complete leaving 26 people dead and properties worth millions of Kina lost. KDRC comprise of representatives from all over Kutubu LLG and is the ground team responsible for coordination and implementation of restoration and rehabilitation work is Kutubu LLG.
