Lufa Tertiary Students Association

Good afternoon one and all.

We are thrilled to update everyone about the recent visit of UOG Lufa Student Association to Lufa Sec.

It was one of the most impactfull visit to Lufa Sec by UOG LS alongside with few representatives of PNGUoT, UPNG and PNGUNRE. The program was initiated by Lufa Secondary Adventist Student Association which involves the whole school community.

The LSS Students were privileged to learn about,
1. Effective study tips
2. How to overcome peer influence
3. How to make right choices on NOAS
4. Different courses with entry requirements and more.

It was one of most effective visit that impact the LSS Students and staffs. It's a first of its kind and and off course it was amazing 👏 experience for everyone who were part of the program. The program was ended with a wonderful speech from LSS SCR president Mr. Jeph Awa. He acknowledged the Tertiary Students for their visit. Also, a Teacher in charge appreciate the Tertiary Students and wanted to make this event an annual event for the good of Lufa, EHP and PNG as a whole.

Furthermore, on behalf of the executives, we would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to those who are from other districts and provinces who supported that program in one way or another. This program is not only for Lufa but will contribute towards the human resources development of EHP and PNG as a nation. God will richly bless your hearts. We also appreciate LSS administration for allowing us into your institution by making transport available, warm welcome and more. Finally but not the least, We acknowledge one of the professional Mr. Morris Meninga for giving us your land cruiser and making it available the whole day. You're truly an inspiration ✨️

It is a milestone achievement 👏

On behalf of LTSA members and leaders. We pass our heartfelt congratulations 🎊 to the following LTSA members and leaders who have graduated 🎓 with Bachelors Degree at the PNG University of Natural Resources and Environment.

You truly an inspiration and your time with LTSA has been productive so far. Now you're graduating with flying colors and we're proud of you all. Your time for volunteering with LTSA was not wasted. You've contributed a lot in something worthwhile. God will bless you all.

The ongoing volunteer project of LTSA still continues this year 2026. The volunteer project was began in 2024 and still continue to inspire the Lufa students and PNG Citizens in PNGUNRE.

Pictures inserted are LTSA volunteer at PNGUNRE. The cleaning and maintaining of the university concrete icon is the ongoing project initiated in 2024. LTSA members in PNGUNRE still maintaining the project by taking it with pride and ownership. The team was led by the PNGUNRE LTSA President Mr. Pikus Javivi along side with other executives.

Furthermore, there are students from other districts and provinces who have shown interest to join LTSA for such impactfull programs. On behalf of the executives, we highly appreciate their time and effort contributed. You all are inspiration ✨️ Keep doing what you can do for your country 👏

Thank you to those 24 members from the different tertiary institutions in PNG for joining WatchApp group call for our first formal meeting.

We are looking forward to our next meeting. Acting secretary @⁨~Lilian Jeffery Hayame⁩ DWU, please do finalize the meeting minutes and publish here. Most tertiary institutionals will have their orientation programs this week and next week. We wish you all the best in your programs. Laikim upla algeta.

Let no one behind. Let's become a change to our very own district.

Good afternoon colleagues.

PNG has been greylisted in Mexico on Friday 13 of February 2026 during the intergovernment summit regarding anti terrorism financing and money laundering.

PNG is placed in a portal where countries lack of transparancy and accountability and can't meet the world standards are categorized as in terms of Fund management. Our system of battling against money laundering and anti terrorism financing is very very weak.

It is important for us to take notes. We might expect the worst to come too, who knows 🤷‍♂️ Our country is going from bad to worse so let's take care of ourselves and be the productive member of the society.

It's about time our leaders should work as a team without casting lots on each other and work out ways to get PNG out of greylisting. It is not a one person responsibility, let's promote team work 💪

Let's be positive ✨️, no situation is permanent. Most so-called Failures are only temporary defeats. We have come a long way 💯 🙏🏾
