A great presentation and paper delivered today at the University of Papua New Guinea ('UPNG') School of Law by His Honour Justice Vergil Narokobi on the "Constitutional Issues on the future of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville".

In his presentation he provided a brief background on the Constitutional arrangement as between the Autonomous Region of Bougainville ('AROB') and PNG National government. He further discussed potential Constitutional issues on the future relationship between PNG and AROB based on what is provided in the PNG national Constitution, the Organic Law on Peace-Building in Bougainville-Autonomous Bougainville Government and Bougainville Referendum 2002 and the Bougainville Constitution. His Honour took no position on any political debate presently being played out.
