The Sacred Valley Project aims to improve access to education for young women from remote areas of the Andes.

has now been one full month since we welcomed both new and returning Sacred Valley Project students back to the dorms for the 2026 school year. This first month is always an important period of transition, and we’re delighted to share that the girls are settling in well! They are building friendships, adjusting to their daily routines, and working hard on their studies.

From early morning preparations for school to evening study sessions and shared meals, the girls are already building a strong community. New students are finding their way while returning students are helping to create a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this year possible!

On May 7th in Boulder, CO the Sacred Valley Project will be exhibiting at an event that is bringing over 100 organizations together to showcase the work and stories of women making a difference for a more just and sustainable world, .

✨ We did it. ✨
Because of this incredible community, we reached our goal for the Reach More Girls campaign.

That means 10 girls now have a safe home, access to school, tutoring, meals, and the support they need to keep going.

As we worked toward this goal, we kept returning to the girls’ letters written in their own words:

💛 “Thanks to the project, I feel supported and motivated to keep studying and to dream about my future.”
💛 “Here I have a home, food, and people who care about me.”
💛 “I want to be someone in the future.”

These words are why this work matters and they’re why you matter. Whether you donated, shared, encouraged, or cheered us on, this moment belongs to you too.

And while we’re celebrating, the work continues. Any additional support will help strengthen other essential parts of the project — from tutoring and mental health support to daily care and nutrition.

We’re also grateful to celebrate this milestone on a special day — happy birthday to our founder, Alex 🎉 whose vision made all of this possible.

Thank you for believing in girls. This is what belief looks like. 💛
