- Maintain and strengthen a permanent relationship with the Japanese Embassy, the Cabinet Office and IYEO.
- Be a communicative channel between SWYAA Peru and the Japanese Government.
- Promote the SWY program to future candidates, organizations and sponsors.
- Empower and apply the skills and knowledge acquired on board of the SWY.
- Encourage local and international social acti

vities.
- Support a collaborative network between alumni from different batches as well as different countries.

Our President on board the last voyage of Nippon Maru for SWY ⚓✨

We are incredibly proud to share that Nico, current President of SWYAA Peru, was selected among 20 eligible members of the international network to co-lead the Post Program Activity (PPA) sessions in Japan 🇯🇵

Nico sailed from Aichi to Yokohama during the 37th edition of SWY, collaborating closely with and representatives from IYEO. Their mission on board was to provide guidance and mentorship to the new participants on creating impact back home.

Our deepest gratitude to the Japanese Cabinet Office for this opportunity to collaborate and for allowing us to continue strengthening the SWY legacy! 🌊👏

Peru in the 16th SWYAA Global Assembly! 🌍✨

14 members of SWYAA Peru had the honor of diving into the living history of Egypt under the theme “5000 Years of Civilization.” From ancient architecture to the vibrant energy of modern Cairo, every step was a lesson in culture and global friendship.

Beyond exploring historical landmarks, we strengthened our international network through social contribution activities and insightful conferences on Post-Program Activities (PPA) 🤝

🌊💙 At the farewell ceremony of Ship for World Youth 2025, Peru shared more than just words—we shared a piece of our heart. In a moving moment of friendship and cultural appreciation, the Peruvian delegation presented presented Ms Rio Tomono, Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Cabinet Office of Japan, with handcrafted filigree silver jewelry from northern Peru—a symbol of our country's delicate strength and tradition. Dafna Gorriti, Peruvian National Leader, and Brisa Arroyo, Assistant National Leader were honored to represent the delegation. This ceremony marked not just the end of a journey, but the beginning of lifelong bonds. 🌎🤝✨

En un emotivo gesto de amistad y aprecio cultural, la delegación peruana entregó a la Sra. Rio Tomono, Miembro del Parlamento y Viceministra Parlamentaria de la Oficina del Gabinete de Japón, una joya artesanal de filigrana de plata del norte del Perú—un símbolo de la delicada fortaleza y tradición de nuestro país. During our stay in the snowy and enchanting Shimane prefecture, our delegation representatives, Dafna Gorriti (National Leader) and Brisa Arroyo (Youth Leader), were warmly welcomed by Tatsuya Maruyama, Governor of Shimane Prefecture, as part of the official program of .

We shared in dialogue about the role of regional governments in fostering international exchange, the power of community-led development, and the importance of cultural diplomacy.

Shimane’s natural and cultural beauty and heartfelt hospitality reminded us that true diplomacy begins with kindness and respect.
