Fundación Pro-Integración Capítulo de Boquete is the local chapter of the Handicap Foundation of Panama.

We provide handicapped members of our community needed equipment and funds to transport individuals to appointments, and for medications and treatments not covered by social security or public health. We strive to support handicapped members of our community, especially those with minimal economic resources. We provide an open, welcoming social environment; wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and hearing aids; funds to transport individuals to special education classes, physical therapy, doctor appointments; medications and treatments not covered by social security or public health. We also assist those families with handicapped members to become more economically self-sufficient and to become aware of the laws beneficial to the handicapped community.

💙 To our friends at the Rotary Club of Boquete: thank you from the heart 💙

There are gifts that cannot be measured in material things, but in what they mean for people's lives. And that is exactly what we received from you today: six wheelchairs that will restore movement, dignity, and hope to three members of our foundation and three people in our community.

But beyond the donation, what we celebrate today is something even more valuable: the friendship we have built together. Two organizations, two teams, one shared dream: to serve Boquete and its people. 🤝

Thank you for walking by our side, for trusting in what we do, and for showing us once again that when the heart is put at the service of others, bonds are born that transcend.

To every member of the Rotary Club of Boquete: thank you for being family, thank you for being friends, thank you for doing good with us. 💙🦽

Some people don't just give their time… they give their light. ✨

Kati Medequesi is one of them. For a long time, she has been a volunteer at our Foundation, and her footprint is in every corner of what we do.

📦 On Mondays, you'll find her at our thrift store, helping with an energy that is contagious. That space, our main source of income, is doing better thanks to her.

🧩 On Saturdays, she becomes a guardian of dreams. She is the caretaker of the educational room, a place filled with toys, materials, and above all, opportunities to play, learn, and be stimulated. There, people with disabilities find a space where they are not different — they are the protagonists.

Kati doesn't just do a task. She transforms lives. Because when someone chooses to give their time with love, they are giving hope.
💜 Thank you, Kati, for being an inspiration. For being an example. For being part of this family.

And to you reading this… do you feel the call to help? You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need a willing heart. Become a volunteer.
