A SUCCESSFUL 1st GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING | FY 2026–2027

“Beyond the Blueprint: Integrating AI for Architectural Practice”

The United Architects of the Philippines – Oman Chapter successfully held its 1st General Membership Meeting (GMM) for FY 2026–2027 on 31 July 2026 at Ibis Al Khuwair, Muscat.

More than a gathering, this event marks our commitment to the UAP Long Range Plan 2025–2035 and the vision of Movers of Progress 2.0—advancing Justice to the Profession, Visionary Initiatives, and Member Empowerment.

Through professional development, innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, we continue to build a chapter that is Stronger Together, Future-Ready, and Ready to Lead.

With the theme “Beyond the Blueprint,” we explored how Artificial Intelligence can support, enhance, and shape the future of architectural practice, equipping our members to adapt and thrive in an evolving professional landscape.

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Oman Chapter proudly joins our Filipino community in celebrating the 128th Philippine Independence Day and the 31st Migrant Workers Day on 19 June 2026 at the Grand Millennium Muscat.

This meaningful event honors the freedom, resilience, and invaluable contributions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who continue to make a difference both in the Philippines and abroad.

🌱📚 UAP OMAN CHAPTER REVIEW SERIES 📚🌱

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Oman Chapter successfully conducted its Review Series for the LEED v5 Certified Professional Exam, held on May 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Ibis Hotel Al Khuwair.

This professional development initiative brought together UAP Oman Chapter members who are committed to enhancing their expertise in sustainable design, green building principles, and environmental stewardship. Through engaging discussions and comprehensive review sessions, participants strengthened their knowledge and preparedness for the LEED v5 Certified Professional Examination.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitator, Ar. Maria Lourdes V. Evangelista, (LEED AP Certified Professional) for generously sharing her expertise, insights, and guidance throughout the review series. Her dedication and passion for sustainable design have inspired and empowered our members in their LEED certification journey.

👏 Congratulations to all participants for investing in your professional growth and for taking another step toward advancing sustainable architecture and responsible design practices.

The UAP Oman Chapter warmly welcomed DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac during a meet-and-greet with Filipino community leaders in Oman, together with Ambassador Noralyn Jubaira Baja and Labor Attaché Alice Visperas.

The Chapter expresses its sincere appreciation for the Department of Migrant Workers’ steadfast support for Overseas Filipino Workers, especially during times of crisis. UAP Oman reaffirms its commitment to working alongside the DMW and Philippine officials in advancing initiatives that protect, uplift, and empower the Filipino community across the Sultanate.
